The group could be pivotal
Texas Sen. Ted Cruz has a clear early lead in the Republican race for unbound delegates who can vote their personal preference on the first ballot at the Cleveland convention, according to a TIME survey, presenting an obstacle for frontrunner Donald Trump if he falls just short of the 1,237 bound delegates needed to clinch the nomination.
Of the 63 unbound delegates who have already been named, 26 have told TIME or other news outlets that they are either committed to support Cruz, lean towards supporting Cruz or refuse to support Trump on the first ballot. By contrast Trump has the public support of only one delegate in North Dakota. Another delegate in American Samoa is Trumps local campaign chair, but he declined to confirm to TIME that he will support Trump on the first ballot. Fifteen others declined to tell TIME their preference, and 15 more could not be reached for comment....

“Cruz, Kasich, et al are mathematically eliminated and cannot win the nomination per the voters. They can attempt to re-wrest the nomination away from Trump and away from We the People only by corrupt establishment treachery at the convention. And that will split and destroy the party and guarantee a Hillary win.”

Unconfirmed reports state that the Ted Cruz Campaign has impacted off the coast of New Jersey. NASA says the impact was estimated at 14,000 mph.

You are stupid
Yeah, Cruz has stolen a lot of unelected delegates, and his supporters think that’s clever.
untrusTED has now partnered with/is collaborating with KaSick (he sent a letter/email to his supporters stating so) to focus on Indiana and then clear the path for KaSick in New Mexico and Oregon....to force a brokered convention.

Cruz and Kasich have now teamed up in a blatant attempt to keep Trump from 1237. It appears Kasich will pull out of IN and focus on CA, WA, and OR. Cruz will drain as much from IN as possible. Unfortunately, Trumps numbers are strong. He is set to win the entire eastern seaboard along with In. California is looking better and better. The hiring of Manafort has shown nothing but brilliance, and this being said from both anti Trump as well as pro Trump.
If Kasich and Cruz are successful, they will finish tearing the GOP asunder when both mathematically eliminated should drop out and unite behind the leader. But then greed and ambition don’t know anything about grace. Both those men could stand to learn some class from the man you claim keeps shooting himself in the foot.
Amen. 2DV is really um, persistent. Yikes.
I missed you bad girl.((((Hugs))))
“Trump is trying to soothe bad feelings. ..”
Trump started it, and even when Ted Cruz ignored it, Trump would not let go, BECAUSE Ted was climbing in the polls.
I love Ted Cruz. Cruz led a rally to stop the Iran nuke deal, and invited Donald Trump, and Trump did attend.
BUT when Ted jumped in the polls, Donald insulted him badly and totally without class.
Ted ignored it at first. Then Donald kept it up, so Ted handled it with humor. However, it got worse, so Ted fought back.
Ted does NOT have a quick temper, like Donald, but knows how to put bullies, like Donald, in their place when provoked too long.
Keep on posting. Until the zot strikes, you’re one of the few remaining FReeper voices of sanity after the Trumptard invasion.
lol
Good question.
Case closed, when Trump gets the 1237 going into the Convention. Or is it?
The next hurdle will be watching the RNC response to TRUMP’s numbers, whatever they are. Watch the Credentials Committee:
Will they challenge Trump delegates? How many?
Will they challenge Cruz delegates? How many?
Will they entertain challenges for voting machine irregularities from Texas and Oklahoma (that allegedly turned TRUMP votes into Cruz votes), and in NY where several district machines were down.
Will they turn the permanent delegates (elected officials)toward one candidate, or the other?
The RNC has a choice to make. Do they go with the people, or do they go with the anti-TRUMP delegates in the room?
The people better swarm the RNC now, somehow, between now and the Convention, because so far TRUMP loyalists are being blocked from even making the delegate slate to the National Convention.
Unless, of course, they convincingly lie and pretend to be Cruzers.
Beware of the gavel. (Just ask Ron Paul.)
“Cruz led a rally to stop the Iran nuke deal”
Cruz, being the good little globalist, voted FOR the Iran nuke deal.
Then he set about campaigning against it like the good little lying globalist he is.
Cruz would now under-perform Romney’s attempt (even under best conditions he would have had a tough road to ho - being a loser who managed to be selected by the GOPe would be the final straw after having a campaign cycle where those in power didn’t do the actual choosing. He’s alienated so many of his original supporters that there aren’t enough votes out there to assuage his ego ...
I agree with your assessment.
No telling what cRuz’s payoff was, for playing supporters/conservatives as the fool, in an attempt to accomplish this nefarious act.
cRuz will then say....’but, I tried my level best to make sure a true, Constitutional conservative was elected’....’they lied to me, again....and slipped ¡Jeb!/RINO in’.
Problem is....cRuz has lost ALL credibility. No one will buy his lies, ever again. He’s souled out...for however many pieces of silver :(
Wow, you really have that all backwards. The only thing Trump did first was to mention Ted’s natural born citizenship or lack thereof.
Then Ted got caught on a hot mic saying Trump didn’t have the judgement to be President and Trump hit back but not hard. Then Cruz saw the nbc thing was hurting him in the polls and came out swinging.
If necessary, I’ll get links and show you the timeline.
This insanity is being kept afloat by the MSM in order to beef up readership and viewership. It has no basis in reality.
