However, I am disturbed by many on this forum who claim to be Trump supporters, but whose posts make them seem more like Soros-paid disrupters. Color me skeptical that they really are Trump supporters and not DNC sockpuppets. There probably are also some supposed Cruz supporters of the same type. It's a great tactic for the DNC: Let's you and him fight. Maybe they can make Republicans so mad at each other they'll destroy the party -- and forget about defeating Old Lady Clinton.
Good post.
I agree.
I’ve read that Trump has spent quite a bit on marketing, and particularly internet marketing (perhaps he should have spent more on ground operations, but whatever).
If so, maybe that is why we get so many of these die hard Trumpkins that deny logic, are immune to facts, and fail to see ANY of Trumps negatives.
Very good & rational post. I agree with it 100%. Unfortunately, it will have ZERO effect on restoring rationality — I tried your “reasonable” approach last fall & winter and got nowhere. Maybe the rest of the FREEPERS will join you in Sanityville sometime after July. Unfortunately, many may not.
scruz is entering the POLITICAL valley of death but we fear not his evil.
A year?
That explains it, Cruz staged stunts in the Senate preparing a run for President. What a con man.
Cruz is a great schemer. He has the entire Bush team that has orchestrated 4 presidential elections. He is taking GOPe delegates that were pre-slated for jeb! from last summer. This game is routine for them. It explains how he “won” Maine when three other candidates were polling ahead of him.
It’ unethical to applaud voterless and marginal victories where the total Cruz winning votes of 5-6 states is less than the population of our local high school. This style of ‘ground organization’ is grossly unrepresentative.
Here is the best visual of Cruz collecting delegates I have seen this far.

Ground game = parliamentary gaming to avoid the verdict of a vote.
Cruz’s only utility is to block Trump.
The minute Trump is neutralized, the GOPe will gut Cruz like a squealing rabbit.
Are you Cruz supporters content with the system that is in place? Both (Dem & Repub). Do you think the system reflects the will of the voters?
-- Tis never been more true. Writer Finley Peter Dunne used it as a quote in 1895 from his fictional character Mr. Dooley, an Irishman who pontificated on the days issues from a Chicago pub. Sure, politics aint bean-bag, Dooley proclaimed. Tis a mans game, an women, childer, cripples an prohybitionistsd do well to keep out iv it.
Where is he going to put that?
It means we must steel ourselves for a barrage of whines from Trump and a fleet of excuses from his supporters.
Bad news for Cruz in California, the great unwashed get to vote.
Hasn’t Donald Trump learned YET that he must KNOW the rules?
Can’t Donald AT LEAST pick handlers who tell him these things?
You would think that as a real estate developer, attention to the details of the rules would be second nature to him. Every building he puts up must have its own unique sets of zoning restrictions and weird riders that he has to follow.
Why is he unable to figure this out or at least hire people who can do it for him. This should be right in his wheelhouse.
Rofl!
Trumpies to vote June 8.
Cruz Ground Game = FR spam by Hillary supporters and GOP operatives stealing delegates.
It’ll be interesting to see if Trump tries (belatedly) to put together a ground operation in CA or will opt instead to come up with some elaborate story in advance about how he was cheated should he not do well. That way, he’ll have his woe-is-me story ready and won’t have to put out the effort and money to try to compete on the ground.
