Here are the explicit conservative values of Free Republic as stated by Jim Robinson:
“Therefore, we wholeheartedly support the Bush Doctrine of pre-emptive strikes on known terrorist states and organizations that are believed to present a clear threat to our freedom or national security.
We support our military, our troops and our Commander-in-Chief and
we oppose turning control of our government back over to the liberals and socialists who favor appeasement, weakness, and subserviency.
We do not believe in surrendering to the terrorists as France, Germany, Russia and Spain have done and as Kerry, Kennedy, Clinton and the Democrats, et al, are proposing.
As a conservative site,
Free Republic is pro-God,
pro-life, pro-family,
pro-Constitution,
pro-Bill of Rights,
pro-gun,
pro-limited government,
pro-private property rights,
pro-limited taxes,
pro-capitalism,
pro-national defense,
pro-freedom, and-
pro America.
We oppose all forms of liberalism,
socialism,
fascism,
pacifism,
totalitarianism,
anarchism,
government enforced atheism,
abortionism,
feminism,
homosexualism,
racism,
wacko environmentalism,
judicial activism, etc.
We also oppose the United Nations or any other world government body that may attempt to impose its will or rule over our sovereign nation and sovereign people. We believe in defending our borders, our constitution and our national sovereignty.”
Trump has explicitly in RNC debates with other conservative candidates rejected the following aspects of conservative doctrine:
1. He has repudiated the Bush doctrine. He says that Bush lied and that his entire perspective on war and Iraq was flawed.
2. Trump does not believe in private property. He believes and uses imminent domain as means for commercial development. That is not conservative and it is anti conservative.
3. Trump has supported turning our government over to liberals. He gave money to Hillary Clinton and a wide variety of high ranking anti-conservative political leaders. He not only does not repudiate this but says this was smart for him to do. He stresses that his chief virtue is as a dealmaker. He says conservative candidates cannot be dealmakers.
4. Trump supports higher taxes. He believes the rich should pay more.
5. Trump supports Planned Parenthood which is the most powerful pro-abortion organization in the world. Cecil Richards was in white house conferring with Obama about the new supreme court nominee. Planned parenthood is not a wonderful organization. Trump expressed support for planned parenthood in the debate.
6. Trump does NOT oppose all forms of socialism. He has said repeatedly in debates under cross examination from conservative candidates that the government will provide health care to anyone not covered by opening health insurance across state lines. That is socialized medicine. It is not conservative.
7. Trump has supported agents connected to almost every aspect of the opposed agendas listed as doctrine by Free Republic. We are told that in the past six months he changed his mind about all of that.
If you think Trump is conservative— you are free under our civil rights and constitution to believe that.
I do NOT think you or anyone else at Free Republic should be prevented from answering your question— no matter how much it may offend you or upset you.
I welcome a constructive dialogue where you explain to me your confidence that Trump will advance the conservative agenda noted above.

Which of above issues you listed have become law because of senator Cruz’s actions?
“Conservative” is a wide set of issues. It is never a single issue. We should elect presidents and senators and congress critters based on what is urgently needed. With 94 million Americans without jobs, approaching $22,00,000,000,000 in national debt, $110,000,000,000,000 in unfunded liabilities, people are voting for whom they feel will tackle the urgent issues first.
