I would guess people in NY still remember vividly how mayor Giuliani performed in the aftermath of 911 terror attack. So it should help Trump to get his endorsement.
Rudy is pretty well loved in NY. He carries weight.
He won mayor, and NYC is the biggest prize in the state.
Guiliani stood alone among politicians in NYC in refusing to meet with the visiting vile terrorist scumbag, Yassir Arafat, for whom there is hard computer evidence that he personally paid families to send their children to blow themselves up as mass murderers. Guiliani’s moral compass is in place, unlike those of most other politicians.

As a native New Yorker, you bet. I remember what the city was like before he became Mayor, and what he did to change it. I left the city before Bloomberg and have returned from time to time. We don't forget what he did - especially after 9/11.

That is an important endorsement. It will real in many base Republican voters. Giuliani is very well respected with the base. This is very big for Trump.
