Sorry Marco Rubio, but the political establishment in Florida thinks it's over for you.
Nine out of 10 people surveyed in the latest Tampa Bay Times Florida Insider Poll expect Rubio to lose Florida's March 15 presidential primary to Donald Trump, and nine in 10 expect Trump to be the Republican nominee.
More than eight in 10 of the more than 170 politicos surveyed said that Florida's junior senator should suspend his campaign if and when he does lose his home state.
"I'm resigned to the fact that Donald Trump is going to be the nominee. Rubio or Cruz can't stop him. My wishful fantasy is someone would step forward as either a third party candidate or someone delegates could rally around. The meat and potatoes Republicans who are voting for Trump are blowing up this party, and it's a crying shame," said one Republican.
Said another: "Trump is going to knock out Rubio on March 15th, and Rubio will cost himself a chance to run for governor in 2018 after getting embarrassed in his home state," said one Republican....

Nothing to be ashamed of...
If he can fool Phyllis Schlafly, he's an A level impostor.
I still worry about electronic vote flipping machines in FL.
I could see the GOP flipping votes to keep Rubio viable instead of allowing Trump to dispatch him.
Well stated.
Hes a lightweight and about the same size as my 13 year old.
Why some faggot from South Miami High who has never accomplished anything in his life except to get elected to office after office since college thinks hes qualified to be President is mystifying.
Hes also walking away from the Senate, so he will finally accomplish something.
Giving his seat to the insane marxist democrat Alan Grayson.
You are right. How about the new law firm of Grayson & Rubio?
“Republicans who are voting for Trump are blowing up this party, and it’s a crying shame,” said one Republican”
No, we are not.
We are VOTING - its the GOP that is blowing up the party.

Blaming the battered wife, not the abusive husband.
Unfortunately, some voters have short memories. 2018 is an eternity in politics.
From what I have seen and heard of John Morgan, it would be a step up for him.
Exactly how one steps "UP" into the gutter, I am not sure.
Sadly, too many of us did and for far too long, and that's why we've gotten to this point. Trump was not my choice in the primary, but I'll be glad to cast my vote for him in the general, to keep PIAPS and her predator husband out of the White House. I am willing to give Trump a chance to blow up the WDC cartel.
OMG! I sure hope not! Any other up and comers in FL able to take on Grayson? How about Allen West? Can you see that smug thug Grayson in the senate? As bad as that comedian elected in MN (how forgettable...his name escapes me at the moment and I refuse to look it up). Possibly even worse!
The GOPs “Stop Trump” campaign is EXACTLY what they promised to not do when they forced Trump to promise to not go third party... Cruz could still win the nomination if Trump gets sick of the GOP back-stabbing (as we all are after 18 years of it)... but either way, if Trump is in it, Hillary wins it. Few polls say otherwise, and Trump has failed to hit his polled numbers in almost every state. He was supposed to win IA, OK, and AK, yet lost all three. He was supposed to take SC by 17, and won by “only” 10. Trump’s main hope is for an indictment before NOV, and we all know that isn’t happening.
Rubio is a lying, pro-amnesty RINO.
He’s going down.
While the news in this article is not really new, it is confirmation of the fact that this race is virtually over. Cruz has just opened 10 new campaign offices in Florida. His strategy is clear: to cause Rubio to lose in Florida. Once this occurs Rubio will, quite obviously, be forced to leave the race. This gives Cruz the two-man race that he has wanted for quite some time (Kasich is not a big factor, and will be less of one after March 15, even if he wins OH). However, if this occurs then Trump will quite clearly win all of Florida’s 99 delegates and generate a lot of additional momentum. This clearly falls within the category of “be careful what you wish for, you may get it.” The additional 99 delegates and the momentum that it will add to Trump’s campaign, will make Trump even less stoppable then he appears to be at the present time.
"When I was a boy of 14, my father was so ignorant I could hardly stand to have the old man around. But when I got to be 21, I was astonished at how much the old man had learned in seven years." - Mark Twain
After he gets reamed in Florida he’ll have plenty of time to perfect his foam party moves.
What happens beneath the foam stays beneath the foam.
He’ll be foaming at the mouth.
I think that’s why he didn’t run for a 2nd Senate term, knew he would lose. But then there’s always the Presidency.
I was looking at his ‘resume’.
There’s two odd features. How does a little guy like this get a football scholarship? Then I noticed this was a private college....Tarkio. And it shut down two to three years after he left. He was only there for one year.
Then he had a $100,000 student loan that he paid off in sixteen years....but you never see any real job except for the city council position (it doesn’t pay much), then the Florida House of Representatives (it doesn’t pay well either). Did his wife pay off the loan for him?
He is a fraud with a big mouth but no accomplishments to back him up.
I never heard of his college, West Miami Commission is a joke, he conspires with Charlie Crist to pass things that even Jeb would not let get past his desk like Florida as a primary seatbelt enforcement state.
Right then and there I knew he was a fraud, not to mention the lies about his family fleeing Castro.
Hes going to REALLY hurt conservatives now by giving up his seat to Grayson, hoping he files before the May 6 deadline after he gets his ass kicked in the Primary in 10 days.
