COLUMBIA -- Contention in the Republican presidential contest ticked up a notch Wednesday when Sen. Ted Cruz responded to a cease-and-desist request from Donald Trump's camp asking him to stop playing an advertisement by saying, "file the lawsuit."
Cruz told reporters in the morning that the letter accused his campaign of misleading the public in a TV ad that includes footage of Trump saying he is "very pro-choice."
"The letter said this attack ad, as they called it, is not only completely disingenuous but replete with lies, false defamatory and destructive statements and downright fabrications," he said, according to a CNN video.
Cruz said the letter threatened to sue him if the campaign doesn't remove the ad....

One would have to be really stupid to think that with the Brilliant Mind that Cruz has he would not know is he is a citizen.

Ted Cruz being the Constitutional Scholar that he is and has been acclaimed to be by many others including his very Liberal Professor Dershowitz himself, would absolutely know his status of citizenship....don't be silly.

If he does we may all get to see how this would play out... but I wouldn’t put too much hope in a panel of 9th Circuit Obama appointees coming to a decision that you will be happy with.

The Reagan years were not bad for the Republic.
But I don’t guess you would know anything about that.
Only one problem. His lawyers (According to Trump) fully vetted Cruz last fall. Said he was fully qualified.
So when Trump 's attorneys file a suit they put him In jeapordy to commit perjury during a deposition. Or he'd have to admit to lieing about it later.
Donnie's mouth has written a check his ass can't cash. His only way to response is to admit it or keep you running his mouth while actually not doing a thing legally.

There is a very well known saying Cruz should listen to. “A lawyer who represents himself has a FOOL for a client.”
You haven’t lost a half million dollars in a legal fight where we were 100% in the right by every standard. Our court system is every bit as political as the other three branches of our government. The Senate has confirmed over 300 hand picked judges sent up by the Obama administration.
Our Federal Appeals Court system has taken a huge step to the left and the Supreme Court was just neutered. 9th Circuit Court judges will most likely rule in whatever way will help the Democrats the most. If they think it is most helpful to knock Cruz out of the race that is what will happen. If they fear Trump more; they will rule for Cruz. It is that simple.
I tend to agree.
I trust in Cruz’s judgment.

I’ve heard of that, but it does not apply to Cruz who is being sued by a FOOL.

He only has to present his book with a publishing date.There’s a copy in the National Archives, I’m sure. What does Cruz have? A video which can be photoshopped and not proven. Cruz is standing on cracking ice, about to fall in.
