Bernie Sanders said Sunday that "there would be nothing more in this world that I would like" than to face Donald Trump in a general election fight, and that he would "beat him badly."
"I would very much look forward to a race against Donald Trump, a guy who does not want to raise the minimum wage, but wants to give hundreds of billions of dollars in tax breaks to the top two-tenths of 1% who thinks wages in America are too high and who thinks that climate change is a hoax, invented by the Chinese," he said on NBC's "Meet the Press."
"Chuck, there would be nothing more in this world that I would like than to take on Donald Trump. We would beat him, and we would beat him badly."
His comments come as polls have shown him narrowing Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton's lead in Iowa and opening up his own lead in New Hampshire. While the former Secretary of State still holds a significant advantage over the Vermont Senator in national polling, the tightening race in the two early voting states have some political observers questioning whether Clinton is the inevitable Democratic Party nominee, as most have long expected....

I believe the grammatically correct wording would be "poorly", which is exactly how I'd expect Sanders to do against Trump in the general.
Children, 18-25, would flock to him, he is the embodiment of everything they dream off, a life without work.
Given how much Obama has lowered the bar on electability, and there must be a Guinness world record somewhere in there, if Sanders was to run against anybody but Trump then I might be concerned about Sanders ”insight” concerning his electability.
It's easier to just say "Democrat."

Never discount the stupidity of the American voter. Socialism is popular among millennials, and don’t forget the 240-EV guaranteed floor of support the dems have before the first votes are ever tallied.

I would like to see all of the country club chamber of commerce types who talk about “working with the Democrats to get things done “work with President Bernie. That would be hilarious. If it wernt a disaster it would almost be worth it to watch them deal with someone who just wants to get their money. Do you think they would learn from that?
Trump will hand Sanders his rear end.
I don’t think he stands a chance, but he has to say stuff like this to keep his side fired up.
If Bernie & Donald go to the finals, Trump will eat him alive in debates, in commercials, and with just Trump being Trump.
America has already had a taste of the banana republic socialist dictator type leadership. I just don’t think the voters will go for seconds.
