Donald Trump's questions about Ted Cruz's citizenship may not be helping him in Iowa. In fact, they may be boosting his rival according to one group of Hawkeye State voters.
In his latest focus group, pollster Frank Luntz asked if the fact that Cruz was born in Canada, to an American mother, raised legitimate concerns about his eligibility for president, as Trump has suggested. Only six of 27 participants raised their hands, even though seven identified Trump as their first-choice candidate.
One participant said the issue exposes Trump as "unserious," while another called it a "joke."
"Just a few months ago, he said his strongest lawyers said it's a settled issue and Cruz is eligible," one participant said. "Now three months later, when Cruz overtakes him in the polls, he says the exact opposite... It's not a serious issue at all."(continued)

That is as outlier polls not showing Trump in the lead.
Are you trolls paid weekly or monthly? How much?
“I estimate about 93% or better of the state...”
Are those the same polls that showed Romney winning too?? lol
We are specifically talking about the RCP polling average, which you use to show Cruz losing TX (which he won’t), but then you dismiss that SAME RCP average poll that shows Trump losing to Hillary. You can’t dismiss the SAME polls when they don’t support Trump, but then embrace those SAME polls when they do support Trump. That is the dishonesty that I’m referring to.
I take all polls with a grain of salt.
I hope you guys don’t have too much emotion invested in Cruz winning this thing.
“I hope you guys donât have too much emotion invested in Cruz winning this thing”
Like I said, it works for me either way. I either vote for Cruz in the general or get to stay home and ignore the election. At that point, our country will be doomed regardless of whether Hillary or Trump wins.
Then I guess Cruz or his supporters have nothing to worry about...just let the Donald self-destruct.

I think Trump HAS lost his center and his self-control. He is driven now by narcisism instead of by intellect and, to an objective observer, simply babbles away.
And in the end, you watch, Cruz will throw his delegates to the establishment guy who is still in the hunt - donor class candidates will eventually come together. His supporters will be shocked at first, but in the end they will support him no matter what he does.

The reason, and only reason, constitutional conservatives support Ted Cruz is because of his firm belief in the constitution, in traditional American values and his strong belief in the need to work to prevent their destruction. Cruz will remain true to those principles.
You sir, are absolutely delusional to think otherwise.
I doubt that very seriously. Never believe anything Frank Dunce tells you. Trump has been consistently right since he started.
I’m a Trump supporter and I think he should be pushed up a notch.
Fine except Frank Dunce is not a poll.
Iâm a Trump supporter and I think he should be pushed up a notch.

LOL! Amen!
Let me also add that Cruz is unelectable. I will give you a quick reason that doesn't get discussed here: his flat tax. Sure, on the surface it appears to be really, really fair (skin in the game and all) - which is all about the Constitution. But remember, there was a time when it was 'fair' to work children 12 hours a day. (But I digress) - Cruz will get hammered on the 10% flat tax (even if the party platform changes it), especially when it takes a family of 4 earning only about 35k to pay no federal tax. His flat tax will crush him as a wealthy give-away in a time of great national debt. And does it matter how he sells the idea to a small percentage of the population that believe that a flat tax is printed somewhere in the Constitution even though a federal tax isn't printed there either. As I have posted before: he will not carry 5 states.
Oh, sure I will vote for Cruz if nominated and all the hate Trump stuff doesn't affect me. But I'm telling you, his pro corporate stance is no more Constitutional than a Bernie tax of 95% - because neither promote the 'general Welfare' of this country.

Oh noooooee, if Cruz win’s we’re going back to the 19th century. How very revealing of the “progressive” beliefs at your core.
Sorry, that’s my opinion...if you don’t like it.
Don’t care what you like. Just pointing out the Cruz isn’t all that Constitutionally sound and that he is also completely unelectable. Might I add that his persona is unbelievably off putting as well. He is a complete nail for the Democrat hammer.
“off putting”? Jeez, you couldn’t work the word “creepy” into your post also? That’s another word in the anti-Cruz jihadists’ lexicon of word to use, I’ve noticed.
By all means, stay with your Cult leader...he’s such a strong constitutionalist, after all. /sarc
