The Preamble to the Constitution, though not law, is the context to which we understand the Constitution itself. At it's absolute core, the Constitution is a United States first document. It is to "promote the general Welfare" of the "People" and not corporations or a specific donor class. Cruz talks a good game of social conservatism but his voting record of not putting 'America first' is not Constitutional (H-1B 500% incr...Corker...TPA).

Let me also add that Cruz is unelectable. I will give you a quick reason that doesn't get discussed here: his flat tax. Sure, on the surface it appears to be really, really fair (skin in the game and all) - which is all about the Constitution. But remember, there was a time when it was 'fair' to work children 12 hours a day. (But I digress) - Cruz will get hammered on the 10% flat tax (even if the party platform changes it), especially when it takes a family of 4 earning only about 35k to pay no federal tax. His flat tax will crush him as a wealthy give-away in a time of great national debt. And does it matter how he sells the idea to a small percentage of the population that believe that a flat tax is printed somewhere in the Constitution even though a federal tax isn't printed there either. As I have posted before: he will not carry 5 states.

Oh, sure I will vote for Cruz if nominated and all the hate Trump stuff doesn't affect me. But I'm telling you, his pro corporate stance is no more Constitutional than a Bernie tax of 95% - because neither promote the 'general Welfare' of this country.

Oh noooooee, if Cruz win’s we’re going back to the 19th century. How very revealing of the “progressive” beliefs at your core.

Sorry, that’s my opinion...if you don’t like it.
