Free Republic Straw Poll (January 2016 edition)
January 3, 2016 | 2ndDivisionVet

Posted on 01/03/2016 2:58:47 PM PST by 2ndDivisionVet

If you had to vote in your state primary/caucus today, knowing what you know now about the various declared and probable candidates, who would you vote for? Why? Who would you like to see as the running mate for your preferred candidate? If you could help staff your candidates cabinet and other top appointments, who would you choose? If you could recommend different congressional leaders than we have now, who would they be? And who would you like to see on the Supreme Court and why? And finally, feel free to donate to Free Republic.

All three bring something Cruz needs.

Not you - you’re quite objective.

There have been a few. Libbylu comes to mind at first thought.

That is one of my biggest concerns. I am good with Cruz if Trump doesn’t get the nod. I would like Trump for 2016 then Cruz can take 2020 and 2024. I don’t know if Trump would want the whole 8 years.

Trump...Cruz has been silenced before by the Rino’s and he does have some questionable votes on top of that. Also ask yourself “WHO” finances him?....I would LOVE to see a Trump/Cruz ticket ...then you would have 12-16 years of prosecuting and disemboweling this federal trough of thieves and treasonists.

As of today, Trump with Rick Perry as VP. Cruz as 2nd choice for VP or AG. We need some kick A** at the helm and a lot of back up for intelligence and votes.

Cruz -- he is the only solid conservative running for President IMO.

VP? too early for that. Trump is one choice that comes to mind. A little bit of forced humility wouldn't hurt him I suppose.

Any of us who support Trump would vote for Cruz if he wins the nomination.

The same can’t be said of you Cruz supporters, and many have said they would stay home.

I’m for Cruz but would vote for Trump.

I can’t imagine not voting for Trump against Hitlery.
