It's a question of judgment.

Poor judgement on Cruz's part if he doesn't stand behind his remarks.

Here’s the point. Who was Cruz making his remarks to? Big money donors, in Manahattan, behind closed doors. Cruz is very skillful at playing the outsider game for the conservative public, but in private, he’s every bit the politician that the rest are. The fact remains that no matter what Cruz people say, he is controlled by monied interests, same as Bush, Rubio, and Carson. Trump is not. Trump is right. This will be easy. Cruz has already been defined as an insider by the very fact that he is an elected official. And people in 2015/16 hate elected officials. Further, Trump makes deals, he works with people to get things done. As hard as it is for the Cruzers to accept, Ted can’t get anything done and most of what he tries is for show, like he’s ridiculous bill to give states the right to opt out of the refugee program. And lastly, if you listen to the audio of him at the fundraiser, he’s a typical politician. Smarmy and condescending. Small anecdote. My mother and my girlfriend are all in for Trump. They think he’s a man’s man. They look at Cruz and immediately say he’s slick and think he’s lying. Cruz does not play well nationally or with women. Trump will do extremely well with all demos in the general.

I admire Cruz and Trump both. But if Cruz doesn’t smooth things over, it’s going to escalate.

“And I think that [judgment] is a question that is a challenging question for both of them [Trump and Carson].”

If Cruz said that, then ‘good judgment’ is a challenge for Trump? Oh, that’s a sly insult — IF Cruz said that. More cutting than any vulgarity.

But if he did not say that, then why the heck is he taking his time about denying it?

Odds are that this is going to escalate, and the way it’s leaking out? Odds are it destroys Cruz politically unless he says something profound or from the heart.

I’d really hate to see his statesmanlike career obliterate because he refuses to recognize a terrorist surge into our nation. That’s the main reason for a safe border.

Ted asked, "Who am I comfortable having their finger on the button?"

Every voter should ask himself that question if he is doing his due diligence.

I am more comfortable with Ted. Donald doesn't appear to be as emotionally stable or intelligent.

as reported by the NY Slimes. Do you know the full content of the remark? was anything omitted? Trump getting a bit shaken after all the endorsements Cruz received in Iowa.

That’s right. It was poor judgement on Cruz’s part to make a statement like that.

Go Trump!

They would be easy to stand behind for a candidate for the presidency. He said that voters need to decide in their judgment who is better to have their hand on the trigger...him, Carson, or Trump. He said he is better.

What would you expect him to say?

He did NOT say that Carson and Trump have bad judgment. He was talking of the voters judging.

.
Why would he not stand behind his remarks?

They make good sense, as Trump continues to fall with informed voters.

Oh! - I see, you’re the cognitively impaired troll.
