The Family Leaderâs CEO Bob Vander Plaats spoke one on one with Breitbart News after he endorsed Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) for president, saying Cruz has the resources and infrastructure to win the GOP nomination, unite conservatives, and select a Vice President with characteristics that buy into his vision and agenda for the country.
Senator Cruz has the real ability right now to unite conservatives from the liberty wing of the party, from the Republican grassroots wing, from the Evangelical pro-family wing, to the limited government wing, so I think heâs going to bring a lot of factors of the party together and I think he is Hillary Clintonâs, frankly, her worse nightmare of tying to become president because I think heâs very gifted at winning persuasive debate and arguments.
âThe past two caucus winners I backed â Huckabee and Santorum â and I love both those guys, but after Iowa they just didnât have the infrastructure to go deeper into the race, so eventually got defeated by McCain and by Romney,â Vander Plaats told Breitbart News about his belief that Cruz cannot only win Iowa, but also has the resources to clinch the GOP nomination....

How old is this information. My hearing is quite good.
He voted for the Immigration Moratorium in the Senate last week and gave his National Security Policy speech today.

If you look at the head to head matchups against Hillary...
Trump right now is doing worse on the average than Rubio, Carson, Cruz, and even BUSH.
He can do all that and still lose the general because his time has not yet come; and because the Clinton machine can and will release hell to pay on him, where his unlikeability factor in Congress has already made him weak. We need a strong, capable, experienced executive who is independently funded outside of the machines.
Donald Trump.
I have been running a 175-member Make America Great Again pinglist that distributes from 375 to 150 links per day (consolidated into two pings) to Trump articles, including relationships with Cruz or other candidates. I scan much of the material quickly. I've found that in both camps, there are a few individuals who are simply disagreeable and looking for a fight. I have eliminated some from my list, and when I'm actually in a discussion on a thread, I just ignore them.
See if you can identify the worst offenders you come across and try just not responding.
Believe me, I know who they are and have been attacked.
The “scary” part is that if in the unlikely chance Trump does not win the nomination, they will not vote for the candidate if it is Cruz (or anyone else). Frankly, I would only vote for Trump or Cruz probably. I do not think I could vote for Rubio but might have to hold my nose and do so. Although I held my nose and voted for McCain—way worse than Rubio.
No candidate is going to please everyone. It really is a drag on this Forum to have to listen to abuse from the nutcases, tho — even the ones who like one’s own candidate. They aren’t helping.
Agreed. And I confess to getting annoyed, but when I step
back I understand where it comes from. We are all so
frustrated with the goings on.
I agree. I cringe at some of my candidate’s supporter’s comments...as well of those who support another. NOT helpful.
We can support without the abuse.
