Donald Trump says he’s been nice to Gov. Christie, but that time is up.

The billionaire presidential candidate, whose name was displayed atop Atlantic City casino skyscrapers he once owned, lasted out at the governor for criticizing his call for barring Muslim immigrants from entering the country (see video below).

Trump ripped Christie primarily for the ”Bridgegate” controvery that led to a guilty plea and two indictments, a political payback scandal involving the closing of George Washington Bridge lanes...

Trump is doing the necessary dirty work that leaves My Guy Cruz free to take the high road.

Happenstance?
Just Good Cruz Luck?
A deal?
A plot?
All of the above?

You are wrong. I want Cruz as VP - then after 8 years of Trump - we need 8 years of Cruz - to keep the Dems from getting near the WH for a very, very long time. Together, they can turn this country around. I just don’t believe Cruz is strong enough at this point to be the head honcho.

Because of the biggest, longest, psychological warfare effort in the known history of the human race, that's why.

LOL. Actually, as you recognize, very little. I was just speculating on the fact that Cruz benefits when Trump chews up Christie and others and spits them out. That seems obvious to me but apparently not to all.

Donald only needs or wants four years. He’ll have Ted ramped up to speed by then to take the helm for eight.

Watched -- at least, the part about Christie, until he starts talking about "bottom lines" and such, business jargon and mindset to reinforce his brand image, that because he understands this stuff he can do anything, just trust him -- at least, that's what it looks like to me.

He's as long-winded as Cruz, I suppose, but a whole lot peppier. Has he said anything about when he is going to halt doing business with Muslim nations in his own Trump Empire? He wants to outlaw Muslims in the U.S.

More force of law. Ted Cruz has the right and conservative (but that's redundant) answer to immigration on both illegal and refugee fronts, which is to use existing or moratorium laws and enforce them, Trump the stupid answer with "We need government force to ban this! Find and deport that!"

He's a amiable old excitable patriot celebrity that has a lot of people sold on his MSM brand image, not the least himself.

Regardless, for the past 26 years he has leaned way left and moderate (supported bail-outs, not to mention the Clintons), switched parties three times, and acquired self-promoted celebrity status via the MSM.

In fact, he re-discovered the Republican party after a ten-year hiatus mostly as a Democrat, in 2009, right about the same time the Republican party left me, nominating McCain, and it has gone downhill fast from there.

If Trump gets the nomination, conservatives will have lost, a political moderate celebrity CEO will be in the White House, and it will be the same ol' same ol, only much better TV. For a little while.

His great accomplishments by his own admission included buying political influence. Success in business is a very different thing than respecting and upholding the Constitution in respect of individual liberties.

I want Ted Cruz to talk about making it legal for Americans to peacefully, civilly discriminate against Muslims, or people they perceive as Muslim. Get government out of it. Return it to the way it was. Landlords have a right to say, "go someplace else." Schools and parents have a right to say, "No, we don't want you around our kids." Retailers have a right to say, "We don't serve your kind." It's peaceful and civil. People have the right to discriminate against what they choose not to associate with.

Government has REMOVED that right from the citizens, and Muslims thrive among us because we get a harsh legal rap on the bean if we object and tell them to take a hike. But it is our right, because it is peaceful and civil. We need to put them on defense, and make it as tough as possible for them to even be here.

It would be constitutional, but there would be other responsibilities that went with it. I think decent people would openly boycott and protest, say, a restaurant that routinely discriminated against any particular color, or a grocery store or something, because it would be their right. I think people are civil and good and the market profits better from harmony.
