Donald Trumpâs fall from atop the GOP presidential polls has started, turning Decision 2016 into a two-horse race with U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, in my opinion.
A national Reuters poll, released Friday, showed Trumpâs support has tumbled 12 percentage points since making controversial, indefensible remarks about the Nov. 13 Paris terrorist attacks.....

It was your link. Trump is a very well-known quantity. That means that his not-likable numbers show that if people have not already supported him, they are ABT (anybody but Trump).
Actually, you are just a blinkered, benighted little nothing of a nobody jerk, whose hatred and biases have blinded you to reality.
Funny. Because someone thinks Trump is a jerk, then they are? By your own definition Trump is a mega jerk - he spends all his time telling us what losers everyone else is.
Sorry, I’m not alone. While I am sure there a lot of very nice New Yorkers, the model of New York jerks is well imprinted in American minds. You may find the braggadocio of Trump endearing, but many Americans only see it as evidence of a petty, uncreative mind.
There are "jerks" everywhere ( which YOU prove time and again, here, and many tourists ask other tourists, or newly arrived New Yorkers how to get someplace and are treated rudely, so they imagine that all New Yorkers are "rude". They aren't and Trump isn't "rude" either!
No, my post did NOT, in any way, prove that Trump is a "jerk". But thanks for reinforcing the fact that YOU are one; didums.
I am a Cruz supporter, acknowledged right out of the box.
But I stopped reading this odiferous article at the second paragraph where Bennett trotted out this obnoxious lie: “Trump suggested he would support a special database requiring Muslims to register with the government...”
Donald Trump suggested no such thing. Not once. Not ever.
Anyone who says he did is an straight-up liar.
Like-ability vs. strategist
I’ll choose a guy that can out fox the foxes any day. We desperately need guy that win a few for our country. Trump says he can, Cruz has proven he will.
Trump is a very well-known quantity.
Not sure what that means. (He has lost 15 lbs, since entering the race, due to his rigorous schedule, though ;-)
Could you please post the link to your ABT post? A specific link. Thanks!
Like someone said above, it is a subgroup of the overall sample.
I'll drill down even farther for you to explain the Reuters graphic that I posted. The usual question they, as pollsters, determine "likely voters" - have you voted in the last election, or have you voted in the last presidential primary or caucus? Or another variation thereof of the question. If the persons polled says "yes" they get categorized as likely voters.
And yeah, the bigger the sample, the smaller the Margin of Error (MOE).
Non sequitur. I’m not running for President. Lots of jerks aren’t running for President. Trump is. He’s a jerk. Embrace it, most of his supporters have. They claim that is what they like about him.
You posted Trump at 35%. That means 65% don’t support him. It isn’t because they do not yet know about him. He’s the loudest jerk in the room.
You just keep posting your inane opinion, sans fact/s. LOL
Pssssssssssssssssssssssssssssst lots of presidents have been/are "jerks" ! Even so, they were elected, some twice or more than twice.
Where were you born and where do you now reside?
I haven’t posted anyone’s numbers, recently.
Also, by your skewed logic, that would mean Cruz...at 8% would have 92% who don’t support him! 92% ABC. See how silly that is?
I know....math’s hard :) Hang in there....you’ll catch on, eventually.
So I can’t count on your support when I run for President?
That’s fair, since I won’t support Trump because he is a sleazy bolowhard.
My apologies, you asked the same question another posted about where the “numbers” came from. I assumed you were the same poster. My error.
The fact is, 65% of Republicans responding to polls do not support Trump, and it isn’t because they don’t know who he is, or what he stands for.
Well, that’s not actually a “fact”. The same would apply to any of the other candidates....only by LARGER numbers, if that were the case.
Next I foresee a Clinton-Bush unity ticket. Suggested slogan: This time, let Hillary get on top!
LOL
I have a hunch Trumps going to pull out at the last minute if he’s not in the “win” zone, should Cruz gain ahead of him...and I think he will as things roll along.
Trump doesn’t do well when he’s not “winning”.....or even the appearance he’s not.....he gets highly frustrated and then gets unhinged again... quickly on the defensive and is usually when he spits out “stuff” that is offensive and makes him look like a babbling idiot. He’s going to have to watch that to stay in the game with Cruz....
