I've been a Cruzer from the beginning and I'm OK with Trump. If it comes down to Trump vs Cruz as the last two pubbie candidates, I will be fine with the outcome.

Either one is head and shoulders above the hildabutchbitch.

TRUMP 25 / CRUZ 22

Ummm... where I went to school, 25-22= 3 points

Granted, there’s the MOE thing and all, but at least they can get their math right....

Yes, and if it was Bush within three points the headline would read, “Bush on track to overtake Trump”...

Now we will see if Donald Trump is true to his word if he is going to declare war on Ted Cruz and attack Ted Cruz as Ted Cruz rises in the polls...

He never said that. Why would you help to spread this crap? Never ever said declare war on Cruz, never ever said he would attack. Said he would deal with it if Cruz rose in th polls. He was reluctant to even say that but the reporter wouldn't leave him alone.

If Trump gets into personal attacks against Cruz, Trump is going to turn off some folks.

And you don’t think he turned off folks when he went after Rand Paul, Bush, Fiorina, Rubio, Kasich, Jindal, Graham, etc? I don’t think he’ll just sit by and watch and not point out that candidate’s failings just because it’s Cruz. If Trump feels threatened (and apparently, he doesn’t at this point) he will “attack”. It may not be in the same vein, but he will do it, rest assured, as would Cruz if the position was reversed.

My take on Rush is that he likes Trump alot, and is loving him taking on the establishment, but when it comes down to it and the rubber meets the road, Cruz is his guy.

THAT explains it. My second thought was that he looks like he’s wearing Trump’s suit. Maybe image wise, Cruz doesn’t quite have the shoulders to fill out Trump’s suit. As some have suggested, he would have a better fit in 8 years after serving as VP, acquiring full ‘gravitas’.

OK, let’s clear this up then, where is the exact article of that interview and Donald Trump’s exact words he spoke ?

If this was not his exact words I’ll retract my statement and make a correction.

Is that fair enough for the Trump supporters ? Yes or no ?

He did say the word 'war' in the end of this interview but not that he'd declare war on Cruze.

“Senator Cruz has been so nice to me, I can’t hit him,” Trump said in South Carolina earlier this year, returning the compliment. “I may have to if he starts getting like really close.”

Now, it appears that time may be nearing. “We’ll see what happens,” Trump replied to Kernen on Monday before reminding the CNBC host that Cruz has so far “been very nice and very supportive of everything I’ve said, more than anybody else.”

“We have a lot of the same ideas,” Trump noted before warning that he’ll have no hesitation going after his ideological mate if he makes a play for his top spot. “If he catches on, I guess we’ll have to go to war,”

He said it with a smile (I saw the interview) but probably meant he'd campaign against Cruz if necessary. Why wouldn't he? But after all the nice things he said here, I don't see him "declaring war" or "attacking.". I think it will be a different approach from other candidates.

A Caucus state is not a Primary state.
