This should help Carson attract more Evangelical voters.

This is so old—probably 25-30 years from the way he looks.
They sure are digging.

Sigh... 7th Day Adventists... a cult basically started by a woman false-prophet... and this is part of their idiotic teaching (which completely ignores archeological evidence). Then again, no small portion of their official teaching is contrary to facts and the Bible...

I’ve been on top of the great pyramid and I say no way. Sorry, Doc. Wrong.

"Egypt pyramids for grain not pharoahs" More plausible than the Leftist belief in Global Warming.

I wonder if this was a speaking error and what he meant was the pyramids including all the structures around the pyramid proper?

Certainly there were food stores that were maintained in the pyramids to feed the pharaohs in the anticipated afterlife. However, the primary purpose was as a tomb. Sorry, but Ben’ s just got this one wrong.

Only a fool would think that a comment made fifteen years ago in an area that is irrelevant to the job provides information on Carson’s suitability for the presidency. He’s not one of my top two picks, but his views on the pyramids are irrelevant.

As a believer, I say this is a foolish saying. It is known the Pyramids (a) predate Joseph, (b) were used as burial places, (c) are wholly impractical as granaries, and (d) are nowhere ear the Biblically identified locations for the granaries, which may not be extant, being not necessarily built of stone or preserved.

I have always subscribed to the Orion correlation theory of the pyramids, designed and placed to honor Orion, the star constellation, and the Great Pyramid had holes to sight the light from Betelgeuse.
But it is a theory and none of us were there.

I wonder what the ones at Chichen Itza are for - overflow?
I climbed on of them "fancy silos" while on vacation in Cancun and taking some of the tours.
