Airing LIVE Friday, Sep 18 3:55pm EDT on C-SPAN.org
Former Gov. Jeb Bush, Governors Walker, Christie (R-NJ), and Jindal, Donald Trump, Dr. Ben Carson, Senators Cruz, Rubio, and Paul, Carly Fiorina, and former Sen. Santorum speak at Heritage Actions Take Back America presidential candidate forum.
It will be co-hosted by S.C. Gov.Nikki Haley, Heritage Foundation President and former S.C. Sen. Jim DeMint
Personally I like this format because it doesn't play into the WWF style BS that the media enjoys so much for debates
Agreed. Now get rid of Bush, Fiorina, Paul, Rubio and Christie (even though i thought he was tough) and we have a conservative convention of people who really want to get the country back. I gave Walker the benefit of the doubt.

How long will each candidate be in the spotlights
I have no idea. I’m guessing they will have equal time.
Yes, I’ve seen DeMint lead this before and it is good.
Tttt
This is a good idea.
I’ve always preferred this kind of format to debates. However I wouldn’t mind seeing some debates between republicans and democrats before we end us stuck with a pathetic candidate.
Yes, all republican or all democrat is not a debate.
I think that Hannity, Rush, and Levin should host a debate at a high school or college somewhere and stream it live on the Internet. Cut out the stupid media. And ask some good questions. And give them sufficient the time to finish an answer. How many millions of streamers would tune in? Probably more than 24 million.
I’d like to see some kind of candidate forum at Hillsdale College hosted by Larry Arn and a couple of top constitutional students.
That would be great. I would listen in. I hate the format as it is now. It is more like a circus side show led by a couple of barking dogs.
Heritage action will have all of the republican candidates appear on stage one at a time to
engage in the most substantive policy conversation during the entire 2016 primary process. The
wide-ranging policy forum will give candidates a venue to discuss their vision for America.
Candidates will explain how their
policies would create opportunity for all Americans by eliminating the favoritism so
thoroughly embedded in our nations current political system.
He sounds tough sometimes but, deep down he's very weak. He wants to be included in the 'popular crowd' so badly that he becomes easily compromised.
It will be interesting to see how each candidate does in this type format. As I understand
the process it can get into details and not just generalities of ‘I’m gonna do this, etc.”
I think its a far more effective means of learning about the candidates.
The event is scheduled from 4 to 10pm. So each candidate is gonna have some time
to explain the answers in detail.
20-30 minutes each
I think its a far more effective means of learning about the candidates.

Yes by far. They’ll have to give some background on proposals, etc
not just some 30 sec I’ll do this and this.
