Republican Elites: You Can’t Secure The Border, You can’t Deport, You Can’t Stop Illegal Aliens,….
Conservative Treehouse ^ | August 22, 2015 | Sundance

Charles Krauthammer and George Will continue to showcase their insane alignment with the DC Machine writ large. You might think of them as pundits, until you realize their punditry is expressed alignment with the policy positions of: John Boehner, Mitch McConnell, Jeb Bush, Carly Fiorina, Mike Huckabee, Ben Carson, Scott Walker, Chris Christie, Marco Rubio, John Kasich, Rick Perry, Lindsey Graham, Rand Paul, George Pataki and Jim Gilmore.

Laura Ingraham scratches the surface on the “anchor baby” issue, but more directly frames the discussion around the larger picture of failed immigration enforcement which has led to the crisis.

We are in this ridiculous place because the ‘Beltway Betters‘ have failed to enforce existing law, failed to secure the border, failed to secure employment law and lied to the American people about their intents therein.

First Krauthammer:

(VIDEO-AT-LINK)

Here’s George Will’s latest ‘high-horse’ nonsense:

[…] The GOP, formerly the party of Lincoln and ostensibly the party of liberty and limited government, is being defined by clamors for a mass roundup and deportation of millions of human beings. To will an end is to will the means for the end, so the Republican clamors are also for the requisite expansion of government’s size and coercive powers.

Most of Donald Trump’s normally loquacious rivals are swaggeringly eager to confront Vladimir Putin, but are too invertebrate — Lindsey Graham is an honorable exception — to voice robust disgust with Trump and the spirit of, the police measures necessary for, and the cruelties that would accompany, his policy. The policy is: “They’ve got to go.”

“They,” the approximately 11.3 million illegal immigrants (down from 12.2 million in 2007), have these attributes: Eighty-eight percent have been here at least five years. Of the 62 percent who have been here at least 10 years, about 45 percent own their own homes. About half have children who were born here and hence are citizens. Dara Lind of Vox reports that at least 4.5 million children who are citizens have at least one parent who is an illegal immigrant. (read more)

Even a disinterested observer will note how all of a sudden all things to do with illegal immigration are impossible to change. The border wall is too costly; illegal alien employment can’t be stopped; deportations are impossible; birthright citizenship is settled constitutional law etc.

The audacity of Will, Krauthammer and the Republicans they carry water for is stunning.

All of a sudden now that we have a candidate in Donald Trump who actually PLANS to do, what other candidates have only PROMISED to do, both Krauthammer and Will are reversing all of their prior pontifications. Proving, they, along with a host of others like McCain, Romney, Bush et al, never intended (or intend) to stop the illegal immigration flow – it was/is all just a ruse.

Trump is forcing all of these liars, schemers and manipulators into the sunlight. Fully exposed they have no option but to display their insufferable Robert-The-Bruce bloodlines.

Yet, we cannot cross into Mexico illegally and purchase land or a home.

I say they need to go.

“We’re Americans. We can do anything we put our minds to.”

Exactly. `Whatever you think you can or can’t do—you’re probably right.’
This “undocumented immigrant” BS has gone on long enough.
These washed-up GOP tits are going to have to step aside so we can get it done.

If ever there were two who gave Republicans a bad name, its those two. Krauthammer and George Will LITERALLY have their noses up in the air. Just look. Cannot stand those two.

The benefits angle only works with mass deportation so they can no longer get the ‘benefits’.

Get rope. Locate lampposts. The elites need to be taught fear.

I’m very familiar with the very un-PC ‘Operation Wetback’.

This was back in the day when we didn’t have as badly the pervasive corrosion of liberalism.

The left (deems, hope, media etc) is so worried about how this will “destroy the GOP”. Why would I care if the GOP ceased to exist?

"Can someone explain this statement? Yo no comprende..."

I'm not 100% certain, but I suspect it's a reference to the movie Braveheart, which depicts Robert the Bruce selling out William Wallace and (figuratively) backstabbing him. Curiously, that aspect of the movie's story line was not historically accurate.

I vacillate between seeing Cruz as VP or Attorney General. I think he would be more successful as AG.

The hell you can't, Repug Elites.
And you can also repeal the "Affordable" Care Act that actually is unaffordable, that breaks the Treasury, that is run inefficiently, that makes access to health-care more difficult, that diminishes the quality of health-care, that has an competent Internet site that is not secure and doesn't work, a 100% complete disaster from every possible way to assess it --- and yet the Demmunist Clowns managed to cheat, lie, and pass that.
Grow a set, GOPe, and do something that dissuades We The People that you clowns aren't incompetent, gutless, pushover, crooks in collusion with the Demmunists.
Repeal ObamaCare, seal the borders, deport the illegal alien invaders, and build the wall. NOW!!! Do all that and you save tax-payer money in the long run.

No matter what size government is required to rid this country of these lawbreakers, the size of govt. required if we allow them to stay will be far greater and give more authority to the liberals who will grow givernment and the socialist govt. to an even more ridiculous size.

You who imagine that 14th amendment was created to do more than grant legality to the slaves don’t know history, have no idea what the original intent of the amendment is and don’t care that only legal immigrants are supported by any Supreme Court ruling to make a child a born here a citizen.

What are you really afraid of? It can’t possibly be larger govt. because allowing these anchors to remain, will grow govt. larger than getting repatriating them. Are you afraid it can’t be done? It’s already been done once by a republican president in the 1950’s.

As for new penumbras, it is the new penumbras that caused the 14th amendment to be twisted for application to foreigners at all. It was written to legalize slaves only.

Coddling lawbreakers is not consistent with our history and none of these invaders adhere to our culture. Use of hospitals, banks, housing, employers and Western Union forwarding money need to be added to DUI drivers, criminals and welfare applicants (social security and SSI applicants, EITC recipients as well) in order to determine who gets repatriated.

Ninety to one hundred million American citizens out of work says your illegal love is hogwash. We cannot sustain millions and millions of illegals coming across our borders. Bringing in millions and millions of their family members. Living off the governmental largess of bleeding hearts and country clubbers, the establishment elite digging into our pocketbooks. Soon the whole world will be crossing the border and living on the dole at the expense of “we the people.”

You need to let logic control your argument. We cannot sustain this misinterpretation of the 14th amendment. Those who created the amendment never imagined it would be twisted like this and used to destroy this country. Am I surprised GOPees go along with the destruction of the country? No. No one ever said they were smart. That they imagine they can convince us to slit our own throats by throwing out a few platitudes about small govt., freedom and liberty is laughable. We are sick up to here with every last one of you Pees. You can take your half baked arguments across the border and see if they work down there.

I’m voting for Trump. There is depth in this man. He can teach us about ourselves about our country.

I know we need to go through this dance, but I’m 100% in for the man.

Trump won’t throw them out all at once. He’ll put in place over a period of time various forces that will cause, or incentivize, many of them to leave. They will be forces, or pressures, not sledgehammers.

He’d have to work with Congress to see what can be done. In his favor, hopefully, will be the backing of a lot of citizens who elected the Congressmen.
