Erick Erickson knows what its like to be in the crosshairs over an intemperate remark. An influential conservative blogger and former CNN contributor, hes taken heat over the years for accusing a Supreme Court justice of bestiality and joking that God had a sense of humor when he created feminists.
So his initial reaction when told Friday about Donald Trumps latest controversial remarks was one of puzzlement. But by the end of the evening, he was leading the charge against the Republican frontrunner over his attitude towards women.
Erickson had just returned from a family dinner to the Grand Hyatt hotel in Atlanta, across from where supporters of his website RedState.com were meeting for an annual conference. Several contributors pulled him aside and told him that Trump had just made a seeming reference to menstruation when complaining about a female Fox News hosts questions during Thursdays debate....

All the media is out to destroy Trump. Trump’s words didn’t get him in this mess. It was the media’s twisting and blasting these words from a million media outlets that slandered Trump.
The other politicians are not speaking out against China, Mexico, illegals and their crimes because the other politicians are owned by China and the establishment. Trump is not owned and is the only one speaking about against China, illegals, Mexico, hillary is a criminal , illegals crimes etc.

Since when did the Marxist media every sway an opinion on here????
I agree, you are meeting a real maverick, not the John McCain get along kind.
“two conservative media rising-stars, Townhalls Katie Pavlich and HotAirs Mary Katharine Ham, both Fox News contributors and employees of RedStates sister sites. Over texts and emails, they helped organize a push to disinvite Trump from the RedState Gathering”
Bunch of Fox News contributors lol
Among the most vocal critics of Trumps remarks, according to several people involved in the discussions, were two conservative media rising-stars, Townhalls Katie Pavlich and HotAirs Mary Katharine Ham, both Fox News contributors and employees of RedStates sister sites.
Mary Katherine Ham wrote a book:
“End of Discussion: How the Left’s Outrage Industry Shuts Down Debate, Manipulates Voters, and Makes America Less Free (and Fun)”
Wow you can’t make this stuff up. Oh the irony.
Mary Katherine is on O’Reilly quite often.
O’Reilly was a no show Friday.....his replacement was......Chris Wallace, ugh
Did not, could not watch.
Well .. I’m sorry to hear Katie Pavlich was involved in this Trump mess .. she is really smart. But, since I won’t be watching FOX, I guess it doesn’t matter any more.
Don Trump is standing in the way of John Ellis Bush or Scott Walker. We can’t have that.
Thanks. Neither is very talented. Katie is kind hot. But she comes off very angry on TV. Ham is vanilla. S lousy writer and boring on TV.
“two conservative media rising-stars”
That’s code for “conservative media plants”. I guess “conservative” today really means “liberal”?????
Perhaps I’m too damned old to realize my concept of conservatism being a portrait of Theodore Roosevelt is passé.
Eric Boling is going to be on for O Really next week. When he announced and asked if anyone had any ideas for topics (usually the job of the producer)the followers laid in to him.
Poor Eric. In the middle
It appears that the factor is without host and producer

We the undersigned petition the Administration to Inform the GOP-E that we pledge our vote for a 3rd party Donald Trump run if the cheap attacks and misquotes continue.
We respectfully petition the White House internal communication staff to direct correspondence to your comrades and partners in wearing down and tearing down this country - The Republican Party Establishment - that if the deliberate word twisting and coordinated attacks against a man they hypocritically demand 'be a team player' do not stop, we pledge our support and vote to a third party candidacy of Donald Trump even though it would guarantee the ascendancy of a distasteful candidate from the Democratic party, who, quite frankly, we don't expect will govern any differently from the set of hacks you favor.
Yes . I’ve never seen anything like Trump in politics . No one ever has.
He stands up to the media, the GOPe, democrat party, rich donors, politicians, the establishment, China , Mexico, illegals etc. .All the others hadn’t before said anything against these and still don’t against China or Mexico the media etc. Trump calls them all out.
This is some phenomenon.
Trump seems to be one in a billion . I’ve never seen anything like this. Amazing to me many on this forum instead of uniting behind him seek to attack Trump.
Finally one guy shows us how to fight. He’s like Braveheart. And what do some on here do start bashing him. he’s fighting the media , the GOPe, the democrat party, China, Mexico, illegals all our enemies. If we don’t unite and support him all of these especially the media will destroy him and then we’ll go back to the decline
We are in seriously perilous times. the socialists took over the media 100 years ago and with that they’ve pummeled America and us and freedom for a hundred years. Now they’ve got us close to extinction. Freedom is one inch away from going out forever. One man a real leader finally arrives and shows us how to fight. and what do we do bash Trump
We have to unite and fight like our lives depended on it because these people the leftists like megyn kelly want us destroyed and America destroyed and they have been importing leftist immigrants for a long time to invade and destroy America and our freedom.

Dr. Ben Carson wasn’t invited, neither were Lindsey Graham, John Kasich or Rick Santorum. And, yet, he extended an invitation to Megyn Kelly at the expense of 5 of the candidates? What a jerk!
Sorry, but I thought Trump’s comments were just weird, “blood coming out of whatever,” etc. No mature person I know talks like that. Chalk it up to Trump being colorful, I guess, but really it left me scratching my head. Cruz has so much more self-control, never comes across as petulant or self-serving. I don’t trust Trump for his contributions to and support of non-conservative policy. Yes, I know he supposedly has had some well-timed “evolutions,” but to me that only means he might have other “evolutions” once he’s got power. Who knows where he’ll end up. His explanation on the abortion change is totally lame. Pure sentiment, not an ounce of principle. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, as my dad used to say, you want to know what someone is going to do, look at what they have done.
Peace,
SR
I heard Ham on Mark Levin speaking aboout how the left uses speech codes to silence opposition...guess she forgot she wrote that book!!!
