Really? No I did not know that. But he was in office 8 years. so a 5% yearly increase does not sound out of line. Florida economy probably grew by 45% during those 8 years. I have not lived in Florida, and have not done any research.
But right now, there is zero chance I would vote for Bush in primaries. So I am not going to worry too much about Jeb Bush.

Where did you get 5%? Florida general fund spending increased by 57%. Total state spending increased by 45%. Over those eight years he was governor, Florida’s population grew only 16% and the CPI, which measures inflation, grew 24%. His spending doubled that of inflation and tripled that of the increased population.
The man is a raging liberal. And Trump should have and probably did know that when he endorsed him.
