No offense, but what has Ted Cruz accomplished in the Senate....aside from speeches and positioning?
He only has one piece of legislation that passed....a bill that barred Iranian terrorist ambassador to the UN from entering the US.
Compare that to Governor Walker’s long list of accomplishments in Wisconsin.
Ths is still more than obama ever did before he ran for president.
I have to wonder what Walker would have accomplished in Wisconsin if he had teammates like McConnell and Boehner working with him?
Ted Cruz is one of one hundred.
He can only take so much credit.
Governors can, and do, take credit for anything done during their administration. Even if they initially opposed the bill or regulation.
I read an article, here on Free Republic, that right after his reelection, Walker told his fellow Republicans in the Wisconsin legislature to back off a bit.
Seems he was already wanting to not be “too extreme” for the moderate voter in a presidential election.
Just do a search on Scott Walker, I’m sure you’ll find it
“No offense, but what has Ted Cruz accomplished in the Senate....aside from speeches and positioning?”
Awareness. Plus, when you are in the minority, there is nothing you can do. In the majority, he is fighting his own party as to the direction this country should go in.
Those speeches and positioning you mention told us more about how Washington operates than anyone could ever imagine. That is what Trump is running his campaign on.

Aha....you are very good at conflating!
Walker - Governor of a state, has lot of power as head of state. Can veto bills, reward cohorts with pork barrel projects, hand out jobs etc etc
Cruz - 1 out of 100 senators, most of them from the GOPe faction. Cruz can’t hand out pork, or veto bills.
I hope you understand the difference.
Cruz is an eloquent and spell binding speaker. Walker competes with Sominex pills.
