Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Tex.) and Karl Rove are at odds -- over a description of what happened when former president George H.W. Bush donated to Cruz's campaign for attorney general of Texas in 2009.
Rove is lashing out against assertions Cruz makes in his book, "A Time for Truth." Cruz writes that he went to see Bush in Maine and the meeting went well -- so well that Bush let Cruz borrow clothes and a belt buckle that said "President of the United States," and handed him a campaign donation check for $1,000. Cruz was invited to Maine by the son of one of his current rivals for the 2016 GOP presidential nomination, Jeb Bush.
Cruz writes that Rove said the elder Bush "was too old to have good judgment anymore" and demanded that Cruz return the check. Cruz wrote that Rove implied that if he made George H.W. Bush's donation public, George W. Bush would "endorse my opponent and come out publicly for him."(continued)

I have a dick. It’s nothing like Karl Rove.
You owe an apology to my dick.

Looks like everyday Cruz or his crowd has to start some story to stay in the news. This is not important or relevant today. It damn sure is not Presidential. Hell there are bigger things going on.
It is time for Karl Rove to go away.
You owe an apology to my dick.
Lol!
Please inform your dick that I am very ashamed to have compared him to a little worm like Rove. :-)
My dick accepts your apology.
That doesn’t mean we will be taking warm showers in the wee hours of the morning.
Best,
L
How did Cruz start this story? It’s about the fat pansy Rove’s reaction to something in Cruz’s book.
The Washington Compost publishes a hit piece, and somehow it’s the fault of Cruz and/or his supporters.
OK, got it.
Oh, great. Now you've insulted worms, those wonderful denizens of the ground.
I respectfully disagree. Rove operates a PAC that is one of the most destructive influences against conservative. He’s the zip inside the wire and he needs to be taken out. Anything that damages or discredits him is news worthy.
Who're YOU inclined to believe, on first glance?
The one with years and years of Media "cred," the "architect," who might "huff and puff and BBBBLOW you're house down!"
Or the mean ol' young Senator who doesn't know how to play nice and get along inside the Beltway? Hmmm? Let me think... I know where Cruz stands, on nearly everything. Can't remember him ever having lied to me, maybe a clumsy near miss hear and there, an awkward glance once in a while.
And Rove? Honestly, I don't know where Rove "stands" on anything except high-dollar donors, the one's with big bank accounts but pea-sized civil consciences; the audience for these mortar shells he is firing.
On first glance or after years of examining these two individuals, one of whom could arguably be held accountable for laying us open to Obama, I think Cruz has the most credibility with me. But I'm not the water well Rove is trying to poison.
I wouldn’t believe Rove if he said the sky is blue.
Rove needs to stick that whiteboard up his kazoo.
This is old news from March 23. Why bring it up the end of June?
This is old news from March 23. Why bring it up the end of June?
This is over 90 days old.
Well, I read the article and I believe Ted Cruz, not the Pillsbury Dough Boy. However, I’m wondering; why is Ted coming out with this now? While I loathe KR, he is influential in political circles and could dry up a lot of money Ted needs, not only during the Primary season, but in the General Election.
I am not a Karl Rove fan. Both of these two like to start crap.
I would urge you to check your premises: Karl Rove and the GOP establishment (GOPe) cannot afford to allow a True Conservative to win in 2016. Such a win would put an end to their “Country Club Republican” cash flow and end their power-sharing with the LIEberals.
GOPes MUST BE DEFEATED!
Based on what I read, Rove has been playing both sides of the fence with the Bush Family.
For his own purposes...whatever it is.
