Sen. Lindsey Graham told Meet the Press host Chuck Todd that the Republican party needs to finally hang it up when it comes to keeping a proposal for a Constitutional amendment banning gay marriage in their party platform, but that he made it clear they're not going to let it go as a wedge issue any time soon.
As long as they can keep the religious right whipped into a frenzy over whether their "liberties" are being violated by not being free to discriminate against a group of people they don't like, they're going to keep going after those votes.
Here's how Graham responded when asked about Ted Cruz hyperventilating over the weekend, saying he wants to add same-sex marriage bans, Supreme Court elections to Constitution.
GRAHAM: I don't believe there is any chance for a Constitutional amendment defining marriage between one man and one woman to get two thirds votes in the House and the Senate and be ratified by three fourths of the states.
TODD: Get it out of the platform?
GRAHAM: In my view, you can put it in the platform, but it will in my view hurt us in 2016 because it's a process that's not going to bear fruit. What I want to do is protect the religious liberties of those who believe that opposing same-sex marriage is part of their faith, so no, I would not engage in the Constitutional amendment process as a party going into 2016. Accept the court's ruling. Fight for the religious liberty of every American.
“And keeping Graham as any sort of anything would be a bight on our entire nation. Get him out.”
The more establishment GOP, the better. Let them dilute their votes.

Graham is a fool who is rewording the language like Obama.
It is not a marriage amendment, it is needed to prevent the kind of inquisitions the church did or that IsIS is doing.
But these critters provided money to terrorisits, so they see no problem inviting terrorist Obama to change Christians minds.
Ye lets make sure there our thousands of lesser evils the yellowbacks can run to instead of a conservative.

This shows the GOP is all talk just to keep conservative attention, yet time and time again the GOP is showing they are truly worthless to conservatives. CONSERVATIVES NEED TO END THEIR UNHOLY ALLIANCE WITH THE GOP. The GOP will never allow the party any real conservative power, and continue to do their best to beat it back. If conservatives galvanized around Cruz, they may have one last chance to gain power in the GOP but if they are u unified then they will lose it forever unless they truly unify around this one try candidate

Graham and people like him are a big part of how we’ve come to this point.
There should be a wave Id think. They do everything in groups. Between the oneupsmanship and attention seeking, it should be quite the show.
Probably won’t be a lot of huge surprises but at least it will be in the open.
I can’t imagine how it could hurt the GOP.
It’s not like the GOP has ever implemented even a single item of its platform into our society.
If something is in the GOP platform, it’s a guarantee that it will never come to pass.
Jut to add, there will be a wave so that they can show how many ‘beloved’ Americans are gay as a propaganda tactic to make us evil traditionalists hit the margins with Stormfront.
There may be a few surprises. The Mooche revealed as a man may surprise many because that would reveal Barry as a homo.

I would rather have a single (or two) true conservatives capture all the conservative primary votes while the establishment split their primary votes amongst a dozen of their candidates.
Someone on a thread last night said a friend of theirs was a mooch classmate in high school and she was a she. Of course she could have gone half way since. Who knows with these freaks? Anything could be true. Or not. Or partly.
