If you had to vote in your state primary/caucus today, knowing what you know now about the various declared and probable candidates, who would you vote for? Why? Who would you like to see as the running mate for your preferred candidate? If you could help staff your candidates cabinet and other top appointments, who would you choose? If you could recommend different congressional leaders than we have now, who would they be? And who would you like to see on the Supreme Court and why? And finally, feel free to donate to Free Republic.

Guess I just fell off the tator wagon. Just what does “straw poll” mean to you? Fantasy picks? In that case, I’m all for Reagan/Cruz.

Ted Cruz/Scott Walker. More conservative than Paul, Huckabee,......
I think the trade bill was a set up to harm conservatives and I almost fell for it. The Rinos will do anything to destroy conservatives. Every candidate is imperfect, but where it counts, these 2 are consistent. Supreme Court Newt Gingrich, Mark Levin and Sessions
2020 Ben Sasse.

I don’t see anybody in the “Republican” field who is actually faithful to the most basic and important principles of the republic and the oath.
Which means that none of them have my support.

A pretty strong conservative philosophy and a bootstraps work ethic. I would pick her as VP to Cruz. And I believe Cruz could do a whole lot better.

Libertarian or Conservative party?

Sorry, but I almost regret the Nineteenth Amendment. There would be no President Obama or Hillary Clinton having a shot at it without it. Furthermore, I agree with the late Robert A. Heinlein who in his science fiction novel Starship Troopers gave suffrage only to military veterans.

You won’t get an argument from me. If it would save this country and prevent fools from putting criminals in positions of power, I would give up my right to vote.

LOL...there would be no Prez 0bie without the Nineteenth Amendment.
That’s funny, right there.

I’ve been favoring Cruz but after his recent support of 0trade I’m not ruling out other options. Problem is I don’t see anything different in Walker or Ricky Ricardo, et al.
