If you had to vote in your state primary/caucus today, knowing what you know now about the various declared and probable candidates, who would you vote for? Why? Who would you like to see as the running mate for your preferred candidate? If you could help staff your candidates cabinet and other top appointments, who would you choose? If you could recommend different congressional leaders than we have now, who would they be? And who would you like to see on the Supreme Court and why? And finally, feel free to donate to Free Republic.

Cruz. I find Walker and Santorum palatable at this moment as well.

Ted Cruz.
He is the only full spectrum conservative.

I support Cruz because he is the only one who has the courage of his convictions. He has not changed his positions to suit his audience. And I think he’s the most polished speaker to take the real conservative message nationwide. Do I agree with him on 100% of his stances? No. But I agree with him on most points and at least I know where he stands on areas we differ on. As for running mate, I don’t really care. I don’t think vice-presidential picks carry the weight that they once did. I trust Cruz to pick someone who will enhance the ticket and not pander to a specific group. Someone who will be a strong member of the team. As for cabinet I expect Cruz to choose people based on their ability to do the job and not simply because they make liberal’s heads explode, which seems to be the primary qualification for a lot of people around here.

For President, yes, Cruz. On the local level, my congress critter Vicky Hartzler, needs her hair pulled out. Vicky Hartzler is a Boehner yes-girl, and she needs to GO.
