If Republicans can't beat Hillary, they should disband the party
The Washington Examiner's Beltway Confidential ^ | June 13, 2015 | Philip Klein

Hillary Clinton certainly has a flair for the ironic. "There may be some new voices in the Republican presidential choir," Clinton observed in Saturday's re-annoucement that she was running for president. "But they're all singing the same old song — a song called 'Yesterday.'"

Clinton was accusing Republicans of being trapped in the past in the same speech that she began by referencing a speech Franklin Roosevelt gave in 1941. And in doing so, she quoted a song the Beatles released in 1965 — before Republicans Scott Walker, Marco Rubio, Ted Cruz and Bobby Jindal had even been born.

The reference was also an indication that Rubio has already gotten into her head.

If you recall, back in April, Clinton announced her candidacy for the first time. A day later, Rubio launched his campaign, stating, "Just yesterday, a leader from yesterday began a campaign for president by promising to take us back to yesterday. But yesterday is over, and we are never going back."(continued)

Completely agreed.

We shall see what happens.

I 100% agree with this headline.

She is a hack of hacks, devoid of an iota of charm, or spark or ANYTHING.

She makes Barack Obama look like Sidney Poitier, her husband like Robert Redford, George Bush (either one) like Jimmy Stewart.

She’s pretty much unbearable, a crook and useless for anything beyond influence peddling.

If we can’t beat her, we need to throw in the towel on this whole country.

The GOP should be disbanded but not for this reason.

If the Republicans nominate someone like Bush they won’t have to disband. They’ll implode.

The Republicans should disband the party. Why wait to throw the election again? A true constitutional conservative party would win elections.

Absolutely agree with the title.

If Hillary is not indicted, they should disband the Department of Justice, too.

Can’t beat liberalism with liberalism. Only reason they won in 2014 is because many of them faked conservatism again, too many of them too transparent in their fakery.

LOL, I wrote my comment before I read the whole article, but I’m very amused to see our author closes with the same metaphor of “throwing in the towel”.

I think we’ll have to use that towel to hang ourselves if this pathetic dame brings her “cornpone husband” back to the WH with her.

We’ll be seeing those memes of Barack & Michelle saying: miss us yet?

Can Republicans muster enough voters to beat 10-20 million new citizen and non-citizen voters? With candidate Bush? Rubio? The competition here is for only one part of the electorate. Neither Republicans nor Democrats wish to gain any or the White male or Conservative vote.
How are Republicans going to win anything at all next year after their abominable performance as Democrat agents in this Congress? Even if the Republican candidate wins the presidency he is likely to be facing an overwhelmingly hostile Congress with Democrat majorities and hostile Republicans. Fortunately for the Republican candidate the next election, after this Congress's passing of a series of Enabling Acts, will be a dictator and can bypass Congress to do whatever he wants to do. Unfortunately, as a Republican, and probably as Bush, he will give in to the Democrat Congressional leaders and if a Democrat, well, we know what to expect. Try to take some with you when they con for you.

The fact that they haven’t had her ARRESTED AND CHARGED with Numerous FELONIES is reason enough to Disband the Party.

If she wins, she likely replaces at least one or two of the sane SCOTUS justices. This means that even if the GOP should win after she’s gone, or if they should continue to control a lopsided number of state legislatures, her & Obama’s goons in the court system will basically veto any bit of conservative law that’s challenged.

She’s gotta be taken down.

That ANYONE could have lost in 2012 to a president as bad as Obama is still stunning. But the GOP managed to do it.

Good stuff there. I could see her as a vice presidential candidate.

If the GOP nominates another Bush, Lindsey Graham, Chris Christie, or someone of similar ilk, I’m staying home. I’m not playing the game with the GOP any longer. Screw them. There are only a couple of GOP candidates who seem to have any backbone, and I am not even sure about them.
