LANSING, Mich. (AP) Former Michigan Republican Party Chairman Saul Anuzis is joining the presidential campaign of Texas U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz.
Cruzs campaign announced Monday that Anuzis will serve as the state chair for the Republican presidential hopeful. Anuzis will also be a senior adviser helping organize the campaigns grassroots efforts.
Cruz says Anuzis has a strong record of leadership, success, and exemplary management in Michigan.(continued)

Wasn’t he involved in the State delegate vote scam for Romney back on 14?
Better watch your back Ted.
Saul is a real RINO’s RINO who got tossed out by the tea party and was caught using official RNC materials to pimp for the national popular vote.
Sorry,in 2012...
Hold on their 2nd D.. I am waiting for cripplecreek to chime in, If I remember correctly, he got booted @ one point for not being Conservative enough.
I’m not liking some of the people Cruz is hiring for his campaign, including this well-known RINO.
That sleazebag will probably implode Cruz’s state campaign and “throw” his support to Jeb at the last minute...
Not in MI, and don’t claim to know the politics there.....FWIW, here’s a link to Saul’s *explanation*.....

Tea party activists recruit Dave Agema for high profile Republican race against Saul Anuzis
He didn’t “hire” him, he’ll be the campaign chair, usually an honorary spot with a little input, just like the California guy he also announced today.
Post number 4 from when it originally happened.

Thanks cripplecreek.
While I don’t trust Anuzis as far as I can throw him, it could be a signal from the MI GOP that they got the message after the 80/20 defeat of proposal 1 last week.
He is a pro and has the ability to bring big names on board. He can be a handy hammer, just watch your fingers.
In what act of the play do you think Saul will stick the knife in Cruz’s back?
Both are disasters in the making, and Cruz is making a monumental mistake in hiring them based on their past records. There are not ifs, ands, or buts here.
He might not. Ted is one of the brightest guys in politics and he could be keeping Anuzis is a position where he can be watched.
Thank you. I suspected the headlline was misleading.
We should expect to see a lot more people ‘embellish’ their association with Ted Cruz as the campaign continues to gather momentum.
I could join MENSA tomorrow and Ted Cruz is a LOT SMARTER than I am, so I’ll wait and see how this plays out.
