COLUMBIA, S.C. Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus cautioned GOP faithful on Friday that they won't recapture the White House if the party gets too obsessed with choosing its nominee while Democrats continue to outpace Republicans on campaign tactics.
"We have become a candidate-crazy party to the detriment of all the mechanics," Priebus told hundreds of GOP donors and activists at a South Carolina party dinner.
Describing the 2012 nomination fight as a "total disaster" and a "traveling circus," Priebus said the Republican National Committee has learned its lesson....

He’s right. Come out for Cruz now. or go away.
blah blah
he is going to try and say we can win with someone like Jeb
no way
“Now we’re the ones buying the data licenses so that we know who to target and how to target.”
I am thankful I ditched my land line for a cell phone. I’m off the grid.
Well then, we need to choose a canadate now, that would be Ted Cruz, then move on to campaign tactics.
Somebody tell Priebus that he won’t get any money or help when his party platform is to pander to hispanics and renege on promises to stop Obama, Obamacare, and amnesty.
TED CRUZ is well on his way to POTUS. He’s declared his candidacy. He and FR are already moving into phase two of the campaign.
I can’t remember the last time we could agree with the chairman of the RNC.
We deserved to lose for agreeing to all those debates, to run the Democrat lap around the Democrat field, with the Democrats running the rules, the game and the score.
Oh, pardon me, Reince, I fell asleep while you were droning on...You were saying?
Reince Priebus, as usual, misses the point.
Integrity is Important and the miserable, lying GOP
(authors of ObamaCARE/RomneyCARE, and the IRS
attack on conservatives via McCain) does not give
a damn that it has alienated every single sentient
voter that voted for it in the last election.
The GOP = Give Obama Power party is SCUM, filled with
betraying liars, who are beholden to the impostor
and behold to every coverup that is destroying America.
Sen. Cruz excepted.
Allow me to interpret for the naive and/or intelligence-impaired: Priebus is saying ignore Cruz (or any other Constitutional Conservative who may or may not enter the race) and take what the GOP establishment serves up (i.e. Jebby), or go screw yourself.
It can’t come soon enough.
Rev. Al Sharpton is calling for the formation of a nationalized federal police force... The SS Gestapo
These are the folks who vote for linda.
Let us hope they show some SC common sense and vote for Ted Cruz.

You traded your land line for the privilege of being tracked 24/7 and your calls all recorded.
How is that a bargain?
I believe that the crescent on the South Carolina flag is not a quarter moon but a “gorget” which was used by earlier soldiers to protect the throat in combat.
Long live the spirit of the American Revolution!
And I mean “American!”
For almost a decade the RNC (and Priebus) have squandered their credibility and political capital on loser candidates and timid self-serving loser platforms.
Just go away. We don’t need your lecture and we don’t need what you’re selling, RNC.
>> “Now we’re the ones buying the data licenses so that we know who to target and how to target,” Priebus said
In their minds, they have us reduced to a pair of eyeballs and a checkbook. Oh, and an index finger that will point to the right place on the voter touchscreen at the right moment. No brain, no soul, no principles, no dreams. We will bend to their omniscient will after they “market” us.
Ain’t gonna work, Priebus. We’re fed up with this crap.
I disagree with Priebus. 2008 and 2012 were disasters, not because of mechanics but because we had shockingly uninspiring candidates. Neither McCain nor Romney could plausibly articulate how their plans were significantly different or significantly better than Obama's plan for big government socialism. Romney had no chance at all of explaining why Romneycare was good but Obamacare was bad (and no interest either!).
We need to choose the right candidate, whether it is Cruz or Walker, and then worry about the mechanics for the general election. Conservatives will not vote for Jeb Bush, Rubio, Christie, or some other pro-Amnesty big government liberal just because the liberal is wearing a GOP jersey.
