Because when you lose elections, there is not a damn thing you can change. Ask any of those who lost elections what laws they have been able to change. The answer is Zero, Zip, Nada.
I am past satisfying my emotional ego. I want real success & results, I can settle for 75% agenda executed over 0%.
Waiting until the primaries begin is already too late to coalesce behind the best conservative for the job. There's no reason we can't do that now, given all of the information available about the candidates.
Waiting to see 'who's connecting with voters' doesn't tell you who the best man for the job is. Only your careful vetting and study of these people will tell you that.
Think back to 2008. McCain rose to the top of the heap in the primaries, but can you say with any honesty that he was the best man for the job? No, you can't. The fact that he began to steamroll the other primary candidates had nothing to do with his worthiness as a candidate.
Why would you even wait to see how other voters are voting before making up your own mind? I seriously don't get that. That's what low information voters do. If you're just going to throw your support behind whichever Republican runs the fastest, then what's the point of even reading at FR?
Take it from someone who knows what Rubio has done in Florida. Those aren’t gaffes, RINO Rubio lives up to his name. He is a liar, backstabber and traitor. He will do whatever he can to get you to believe he’s not a lying amnesty lover and unfortunately some people will be fooled multiple times.
It is never what Marco says, it is always what he does. Follow his actions, from blocking bills supporting US sovereignty in the Florida House, pretending to be anti amnesty to get elected in the senate, joining the gang of eight, and lying to US citizens about enforcement while promising amnesty to Spanish speaking audiences, to his very recent ploy with Tennessee senator Corker that will destroy the Constitution and give Obama the power to enact treaties on his own.
Certain groups of people listen to/believe RINO Rubio — the naive, the delusional, E/E-RINOs and the people they have bought and paid for. I’ve seen too many conservatives, who should know better, gloss over all Rubio’s RINO acts and for whatever reason, fall into one of those previously mentioned groups. I hope you are not one of them.
“Waiting until the primaries begin is already too late to coalesce behind the best conservative for the job.”
I agree. If a conservative doesn’t win the primary, then the election is already over and lost. Some republicans may be satisfied with a slow march towards socialism, but anyone who calls himself or herself a conservative is by their very nature adverse towards socialism. Unfortunately the GOPe has done a good job with their propaganda campaign and deceived many into believing that ‘republican’ is synonymous with ‘conservative’. This misinformation leads many to believe that it is more important to have a candidate who can beat the democrat nomination rather than to ensure that at least one of the general election candidates is a conservative. To those sorts I ask “what difference does it make?” At that point in time, the answer is none, and then they get all resentful and piss and moan when conservatives don’t go out and vote for either of the libtard candidates, because doing such inherently goes against a conservative’s nature. For some reason, there are those unfortunates who just don’t ‘get it’.
Incorrect, Rubio was for not enforcing immigration laws, then as Senate candidate he was for them, then the Gang of 8 he was against current laws that are not being enforced and now he is against that. Just another say one, two or three things RINO.
How about doing a little research and here why he proposed this. It was to be a deal breaker for the Gang of 8 legislation and focused on legal not illegal. There is a huge and distinct difference. Better yet, listen to him in his own words in the video.

it’s temporary ...
Yes, he was wheeling and dealing for illegal aliens in the FL legislature then, too. No way, not ever, never voting for traitor Rubio.
Too late to decide by then. McCain and Romney had the nomination sewed up by March in the last two cycles.
Regardless, when you compare ALL the horses in this race and when they come out of the wash Ted Cruz comes out of the wash as the best shining example of the best choice.
We will never find the perfect canadate.
Marco Rubio is not the only Anti-Hillary in this race.
If that is his only platform to run on then he is surely to lose.
Perhaps this is what the establishment wants after all.
You can’t just run on a anti-Hillary platform alone and expect to win.
Full Disclosure: My preference currently is Walker, Cruz, Paul, Rubio in that order. This can change as campaign evolves, debates happen, polls are released, gaffes take place, etc.
Thats my order of preference now, too. I had Rubio ahead of Paul until Paul did a masterful job of hitting the Dems on abortion. Yes, things can and will change as things transpire.

Well, let me jump in here. My order of preference is:
Cruz, Rubio, Walker and Paul. I just think that we need a Latino on our Ticket (Not just any Latino, of course.) because the DemocRATS are going to have a woman and a Latino: Hillary Clinton/Julian Castro.
What would you think of a Walker/Martinez Ticket? I’d love a Cruz/Martinez Ticket, but, two Hispanics on the Ticket might be an overkill; don’t ya think? Gov. Susana Martinez of NM is Conservative enough to earn that second spot. Please check out the link below:

If on Election Day in November of 2016 and the choice is between Rubio and Hillary Clinton, or some other left-wing, Saul Alinsky radical, will you still hold to that vow?
Marco Rubio should throw some water on Hillary Clinton and watch her melt...!
Yours is the voice of ignorance, screaming from the rooftops.
Mitt Romney is easily as liberal as most self-identified Democrats, and his RECORD proves it. It's ignoramuses like you who refused to examine the actual facts about this man, and helped the GOP-e to thrust that worthless loser to the front of the pack.
Get it through your head. The GOP ran a LIBERAL for president in 2012. That is why millions of Republican voters stayed home. Stop blaming the voters for that quisling's loss. It's Romney's fault, not theirs.
Now do yourself and the rest of us a favor, and do the due diligence you should have done in 2012:
Mitt Romneys Dismal Liberal Record
"As U.S. real output grew 13 percent between 2002 and 2006, Massachusetts trailed at 9 percent.
* Manufacturing employment fell 7 percent nationwide those years, but sank 14 percent under Romney, placing Massachusetts 48th among the states.
* Between fall 2003 and autumn 2006, U.S. job growth averaged 5.4 percent, nearly three times Massachusetts' anemic 1.9 percent pace.
* While 8 million Americans over age 16 found work between 2002 and 2006, the number of employed Massachusetts residents actually declined by 8,500 during those years.
"Massachusetts was the only state to have failed to post any gain in its pool of employed residents," professors Sum and McLaughlin concluded.
In an April 2003 meeting with the Massachusetts congressional delegation in Washington, Romney failed to endorse President Bush's $726 billion tax-cut proposal."
