Strapped for cash? He just raised over $2 million in 3 days? Who else is doing that?
Pray America is waking
Trail in polls my rear end.
You always see the lightning before the thunder.
“Hugh Hewitt calls him an intellectual leader.”
Ha!
Hugh Hewitt is not for Ted Cruz, Nor is Cruz a Hewitt favorite.
Salem is decidedly anti-Cruz, anti-Palin and pro GOPe.
Ted Cruz is going to beat them like a Persian Carpet at Spring cleaning.
Wasn’t Cruz polling at just 3% early on in his Senate race against Dewhurst?
The tortoise and the hare.....Cruz won that race, which is something these naysayers in the GOPe and the dems should worry about.
Has there been any time in politics where the polls were correct?
"Republicans lost the White House in 2008
and again in 2012, because Sen. John McCain and Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney
failed to ignite conservative passions."
Rush has really been pathetic about pro-amnesty Walker.
I voted for Cruz in the Senate primary and general elections, and I have been pleased with his rhetoric and tactics since assuming office. I am, however, wary of the fact - which I just recently learned - that his wife works for Goldman Sachs. Does this concern anyone else?
I’m not sure if Cruz can survive all the fire coming from the Left—but I think their response indicates they both loathe and fear him. That will sit well with a lot of folks on the right.
We are in a new era of politics. For one thing, it looks to me like we won’t have a coronation at the National Convention but an old time battle for delegate votes on the floor and in the back rooms. I venture to say that very few potential delegates or politicians were active the last time that occurred so it will be a new lesson in strategy for all but a few—and make no mistake it is an form of politics that is an art.
The new era is all about getting to the voters directly via the new media instead of through the traditional TV networks and national newspapers.
The winning candidate will be capable of instant intelligent debate and repartee in town halls, tv interviews and the debates. If he gets as far as debates with Hillary, she will be in serious trouble.
Because I expect him to be a good campaigner, I think he will be able to craft a message to Latinos that will resonate with them, despite his stand on illegal immigration.
Finally, the candidate that wins in this TV era has to be photogenic, look like a President and No baby faces or fat boys need apply. Cruz is going to score very highly with voters in the beauty contest compared with some others.
I’m stocking up on popcorn. This looks like fun.
“Dispised by his Senate colleagues...”
All the Dems and the RINOs are dispicable so that is not a problem.
“Comments?”

Savage is not only an outlier, he comes across as an idiot.
I am with Levin on just about every issue, including his endorsements of candidates. I think he will go with Cruz.
He’s splitting the Evangelical vote with Huckabee and Perry in the primaries, either one or both need to concede early in order for him to win. Winning the general election is iffy unless Hillary the evil witch gets prosecuted for obstruction of justice and he gets to run against the second tier. My guess is the GOP pushes Jeb with Cruz as VP.
