I love the idea of simplifying taxes. (IRS becomes unnecessary).

But I favor governors with proven executive experience. Must have a record of balancing state budget with lower taxes! And increasing PRIVATE SECTOR jobs in the state. Right now 2 proclaimed candidates fit that bill... Kasich and Walker.

But if both falter in primaries, then I will go with Cruz or Jindal.

Budget is balanced and appropriated through the House. The President proposes a budget and must sign whatever is passed by Congress. I see the executive duties of the President as very different from those of a governor. The President acts primarily through his Cabinet.
The most important consideration of a candidate to me is what they say they want to do and whether or not you believe they will actually do it. I trust Ted Cruz. I trust that he will make proposals to Congress that will build up our economy, our military, and strengthen our security. I trust him to be a friend to Israel.

I have nothing against Walker (actually a big fan of his) or Kasich. The private sector is doing far better in Texas than WI or OH. This is where conservatives tear candidates apart. This is where we always end up losing. Conservatives eat their own. Democrats will support ANYTHING or ANYBODY.
