I have nothing against Walker (actually a big fan of his) or Kasich. The private sector is doing far better in Texas than WI or OH. This is where conservatives tear candidates apart. This is where we always end up losing. Conservatives eat their own. Democrats will support ANYTHING or ANYBODY.
Texas was never in the same trouble as WI & OH were. Both states were in deep deficits and had lost half a million jobs in Ohio. Those two governors turned things around. It is easier, actually much easier for a republican to win in TX. Wisconsin voted for democrat presidents for several election cycles now.
I have nothing against Cruz’s agenda. It is actually almost as good as my own. What I am skeptical about is that he has no proven record of having sponsored any significant legislation which passed. He is like marrying a virgin. Everything looks good. There are lot of promises. But there could be a disappointment on wedding night. I would rather marry my girl friend who has already proven her talents with me.
