News 4 San Antonio's Randy Beamer shows you the all-but-official kickoff of the 2016 Presidential Race at the Iowa "Freedom Summit" over the weekend.
And he wants to know what you think of the Texans fighting for support of the GOP right.
Sen. Ted Cruz and former Rick Perry are in a very crowded field of Republicans. With so many candidates, the race may get heated (and interesting) earlier than ever.
So which of the Texans do you think has the better chance? And who would you put money on to get the most money from donors?

We may air some of your comments Tuesday at 10 pm on News 4 San Antonio.
Looks like a ticket to me.
Obama was as far left as one gets in America(CPUSA), but never identified as far-left.
Perry is another amnesty guy.
Cruz is the only one running that hasn’t supported “Comprehensive Screwing of Americans Out Of Their Country.
I’d like Sessions to run, but doubt he would.
What fight? It’s Cruz or lose.
There are three reasons we have to nominate Cruz and not Bush/Christie/Rubio or even Perry:
1. Cruz has genuinely led with small-government conservative values.
2. Cruz speaks well under pressure.
3. Um . . . I’ve forgotten he third reason.

Perry is “Coming to Jesus” on the immigration issue. What kills him was his “Gaff” during the debates for the 2012 election cycle. The media would kill him with that mistake. He should withdraw even though he did a great job in Texas.
LMAO!
Lol
3: he is the one most aligned with our Conservative values.
Rubio should not be at the top of the ticket but he makes a very attractive VP candidate and gives us a real chance in Florida. Thus, my tagline...
One’s a governor. The other one isn’t.
One is electable. The other is a governor.
Sorry, but Rubio is the definition of an empty suit who will say anything if he thinks it will help him politically. Aside from that he is an amnesty illegal loving turd.
The GOP hasn’t had this in a long time and has probably forgotten...but if you have strong candidate with strong conservative ideas, you don’t have to play the “appeal to select minorities, states, regions, etc game”.
True conservatism benefits everyone and trancends politics. I don’t think the GOP has had that type of candidate since Reagan and thus resorts to the pandering approach.
I’m hopeful that Cruz will be that candidate. I just hope he doesn’t sully himself with a turd like Rubio.
Exactly. No governors please.
Yes, legislators are acceptable, as are generals, business leaders, pastors, technical innovators, among other categories. No full-term governors. They are meddlers by definition.

Can’t be from the same state. One of them would have to move out of Texas.

Perry is far too flawed: embrace of Islam, amnesty, Gardisil. Will say anything to get elected.
