Last year, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) stood front and center in the battle against President Barack Obamas health care program, leading an effort that shut down the government because the budget bill did not include a provision to defund the presidents plan.
This year, Cruz was the lead crusader against the spending bill again, this time because it did not include a challenge to Obamas executive action on immigration, which could shield an estimated 5 million people who entered the country illegally from deportation for about three years....

Go, Ted, GO!
Ted has got them running scared. He’s why Milt and Jethro are making rumblings about running so early. They’re afraid Ted is going to declare early and thwart the desires of the oligarchy.
Might be the only Senator with a backbone.
Ted has already rented a headquarters in Houston (you didn’t hear that from me), has a PAC and could declare at any time.
I’ll put it this way;
Ted Cruz went into the Senate and did an epic 23 hour filibuster.
He’s the only one who spoke for me that day.
I’ll speak for him in 2016.
Either as a write-in, or if the GOP magically grows some conservative sense between now and then and decides to stop undermining him, and brings him to the forefront.
But either way, I won’t forget.

All right Ted!!! Kick butt!!
Ted really IS the smartest guy in the room.
I hope Ted Runs and wins the Presidency in 2016. That is if the Obama socialist steps down and allows elections
I don’t think it will allow them
Damit! I am a Cruz supporter but I just got this mail. Has anyone heard Cruz say this and if so should we just ignore it?
“definitively that the United States doesn’t support torture, that we’re better than that”
Awesome, can’t wait.
It’s time for NC to help Cruz the way we did for Reagan.
No, Ted Cruz Did Not Say That Bush-Era Interrogation Tactics Were Torture

I know which side of this I’m going to be on!
Ted Cruz stated he doesn’t “support torture” and “we’re better than that”. What is the definition of torture? IMO, waterboarding isn’t!! Beheading is. Therefore, I don’t support torture either. I cant imagine any candidate running for president to stand up and say yes I support torture. Seriously? I think you are reading to much into it.
When it comes to debates Cruz will calmly, patiently, brilliantly, DESTROY godforsaken RINO liberals like Jeb and Christie.
I'd be more worried about why Ted Cruz party thinks they are so impervious to the wrath of their own base that they can ignore their will regarding amnesty.
