Patriot Action Network's Patriot Caucus is hosting a final 2014 poll to gauge the views of our members when it comes to 2016. We know it's early, but truth is some of these campaigns will likely begin kicking into gear the first quarter of 2015.
With this in mind, please consider selecting your first pick for 2016 ....
I don't totally disagree, but after the carnage of the last three presidential administrations, it's going to take someone of historic character, courage, and intestinal fortitude to turn this country around.
Because of that, I've got a pretty high bar set for who I'll support for President next time around.
My pick for President has got to be a proven fighter, possess an outstanding public service record, have darn near supernatural political instincts, charisma, courage, a mind that naturally computes with the best constitutional solution available in any given situation, and who loves this country and her people above all others.
I only know of two people offhand who have all of those qualifications. At least one of them will surely run for the office in 2016.
I could support several on that list but spare me from Cristie, Paul, Bush, Huckabee, and Fiornina.
It's why his name is at or near the top of all these conversations.
I've got to hear him talk, though. In addition to having sterling qualifications, a candidate has to be able to touch the common man through excellent communication. Without that, any political rock star will beat him.
I respect your choice, but Perry's been stricken off most conservatives' lists. The man is just too liberal for most of us.
Many people had the same thought about Reagan. He proved the 'common wisdom' totally wrong.
It's that time again.
I dream of Mark Levin as President :-)
You can leave a comment at the site letting them know.
“His thoughts on the 2nd Amendment are too off base to be that close to the Presidency.”
With you on that one.
First I've heard of it, but it explains why her name is in the poll, while Palin's is not.
1. She seems to be the least boring?
2. The article implied that despite the loss of 50% in value HP weathered the bust of the dotcom bubble.
3. Was she ousted from the board for political reasons like the Netscape guy, rather than legit business issues?
4. We deserve a Chief Executive Officer this time around.
Scott Walker - our generation’s Reagan. The Clinton people are terrified of him.
Walker is the polar opposite of Hillary, which is exactly what we need.
Hillary is old, walker is young.
Hillary is DC and elitist, walker is Main Street
Hillary is an Ivy League snotty lawyer, walker never finished college.
Hillary was a disaster at state dept, walker a tremendously successful chief executive
Hillary has spent most of her career in dc, walker has never worked there a day in his life
Yep. We've got a pretty deep bench. The future's looking bright.
Carly was part of the McCain camp in 08.
She’s working the RINO power brokers / donors hard.
If she runs, I don’t see her getting past the first month of the actual voting.
I'm pretty sure the list was composed by selecting the names of those politicians who've expressed some interest in running in 2016.
That answers why Palin is missing.
Chief executives are judged on the performance (or lack thereof) of the organizations they run.
I'm sorry, but a 50% loss of value (or rate of failure) is considered a huge black mark against any chief exec. Even if the organization survives it.
LOL!
Touche’....wascist....
Ronald Reagan
*****sigh*****
That’s it?
AggghhhhHHHH!!!!!
I feel robbed.
You normally have a better smart azz response.
Gawd!
I think NJFatboy could make a good VP candidate...for the Democrats....
