Although we are about 16 months away from having a pretty good rundown on who the likely 5 or 6 candidates will be, would be interesting to see if anyone can look into their crystal ball and foretell the final five or six candidates as we head into the second half of the 2016 primary season. Seven or eight of the possible candidates are pretty much set in stone. The most obvious candidate has to be Ted Cruz. We can all agree that if he runs, he will likely be the one to beat. But who will be the other five candidates in the final clash? Would love to hear some predictions. One of us is likely to get it right, or at least predict Five of the "Final Six".
1. Ted Cruz
2. Mike Pence
3. Jeb Bush
4. Scott Walker (if he wins in Nov 14)
5. Marco Rubio
6. Mike Huckabee
I forgot about Chelsea Clinton. I have her at number 17 on my list. Cocoa the Gorilla is number 16.
The Conservatives should have a conservative convention to select its standard bearer well in advance of debating the GOPe candidate.
Last time 8 conservatives wasted resources and split the conservative vote and Romney got in with 32% vote victories.
Conservatives have to select one consensus candidate to win the majority of the vote in primaries or the GOPe wins again.
I forgot about Mike Pence, but keep in mind, a “Too White Ticket” as awesome/powerful may not work being we need a chunk of the hispanic/black vote to win. Cruz/West would be our best chance of taking the minority vote.
A Bert/Ernie ticket would beat Obama if he tried to run again.
Peter King
Linsey Graham
Jon Huntsman
Mike Huckabee
Todd Akin
Susan Collins
George Pataki
No preferred order. All powerful conservatives.
Six minions of new world order.
The Democrats will also exclusively field new world order minion candidates.
WHO????
It will be our loss if he does not.
In no particular order:
Lindsey Graham
Sheila Jackson Lee
Van Jones
Willard Romney
Jeb Bush
Jerry Brown
generally counts for something
What does it count for? He’s had lots of
“conservative” troubles, wouldn’t you say?
Not my top six, but my predicted six.
Cruz
Christie
Romney
Santorum
Bush
Walker
Could be wrong, but I think nobama has soiled the well for any near future black POTUS, even a conservative.
Mitt
Cruz
Paul
Walker
I don’t think there will be six
ok list, but Paul Ryan will NEVER get my vote.......and I mean EVER!
Ryan was an interesting pick.
I would leave the Presidential ticket blank. I will NEVER vote for that creep!
Jindal proposed big pay raises for his legislature some years ago right after we had a revolt over our legislature and governor doing the same trick here in PA....incumbent Republicans and Democrats lost races over it.....
That alone confirms my belief Bobby is a business as usual politician who dresses up his non-conservatism with a façade of tough sounding emotional words......
Read my lips, Ryan created the current federal budget in a deal with Dem Patty Murray that gave us new taxes (”airline fees”).
The Murray-Ryan budget also cut military pensions..
Yep.....hate him! Not personally but professionally......he is worse than President Obama by a million percent. Paul Ryan is pond scum.
Paul, Bush, Rubio, Christie, Huckabee, Cruz
