Eric Holder, Attorney General, issued some stinging criticisms of Sarah Palin this weekend.
Palin, a failed GOP vice presidential candidate and professional media provocateur, has recently been trying to garner the public’s attention again with a series of calls for the impeachment of President Barack Obama.
“She wasn’t a particularly good vice presidential candidate,” Holder said. “She’s an even worse judge of who ought to be impeached and why.”
The Attorney General’s comments are part of a larger assault on the stubborn gridlock caused by congressional republicans and their obstinate refusal to work with the president, even to the detriment of the country.
“For whatever reason, [some] Republicans decided early on that this was a president they were just simply not going to cooperate with,” he said in an interview with ABC. “And over the past five-and-a-half years, we have seen demonstrations of that, where the president has reached out his hand, offered compromises that simply have not been met [in the way] they have been in the past by a Republican Party willing to do the appropriate things.”
Palin and the rest of the GOP’s woes aren’t going to go away soon. Their childish pleas and arrogant rhetoric are only amounting to division within the ranks and a distancing from the more moderate members of their party.
Gee for someone who is supposedly SO irrelevant, they sure do talk about her a lot..Judge Jeanine Pirro calls for Obama’s and Holder’s impeachment every single week..the media doesn’t ask Holder about her..yet all they can do is trash Sarah Palin..she must have struck a nerve..poor Eric must be worried he is going to be impeached first..actually I prefer Leavenworth

Sarah Palin has been elected to high public office. Eric H. Holder, Jr is merely an appointed political apparatchik.
She’s living rent free in their heads. If she didn’t matter, he wouldn’t waste the time to acknowledge her.

Eric, Attorney Generals aren’t supposed to be political. It’s past time for you to act like a professional.
This just goes to show how dysfunctional the entire administration is. There are more Federal employees than ever in the history of the country and all those people combined STILL can’t make sure this guy takes his meds properly.
Holder is not even remotely capable of professionalism.
I do not recall in my lifetime a more politicized AG than Holder. Not even Janet Reno was as bad, and she was pretty bad. Could you imagine someone like John Ashcroft making such political statements? No, they tried to serve the Justice department in a manner to serve the people, not use it as a political arm.

Actually, I don’t see it the way most posts to this article are leaning. For the Holder-of-Injustice to speak out on his own - instead of his sycophants in the media handling that for him- tells me Palin struck a nerve and a BIG one. Eric the Red is next (should be 1st) in line to be impeached whether or not he knows it. Go get him Sarah. Your on target, turn up the volume, “Highway to the Danger Zone,” baby!
She’s so irrelevant, he had to go on ABC News to tell everyone how irrelevant she was.
He should have been locked in prison for many years.
Actually, I was surprised that he mentioned her by name. All that does is raise her profile to most people. How many other non-elected private citizens so vex and worry the nation’s Top Cop (Not Really) that he has to whine about them on national TV? Sarah is bring home the bacon to her reality show station. Maybe this is why she chose a largely unknown channel to work for. They would be and now are more welcoming of the publicity she bring to their station. Smart lady!
She’s crushed, I’m sure. And right on target, if I may say. They talk about her and talk and talk. Curiouser and curiouser.
