I think Sarah’s comments should be taken more along the line of “if anybody OUGHT to be impeached, it’s this guy,” rather than a strategic decision that impeachment should be started. There’s a difference. And, if more of the Republican leaders said it, it might take hold in the minds of the unwashed LIV masses.

I expect the GOP leadership to come out immediately, condemn Palin, and then (echoing McCain in 2008) officially state “there is no reason to fear an Obama presidency.”
