Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, who survived a recall in 2012 largely due to the tea party, said Sunday that the tea party movement should target Democrats, not Republicans.
"The answer is not to take it out on House Republicans in primaries, it's to go to Louisiana, Arkansas and North Carolina," the Republican governor said on CNN's "State of the Union," referring to Senate Democrats who are facing tough reelection campaigns in red states.
Walker offered his assessment in the wake of House Speaker John Boehner's recent criticism of some conservative outside groups.
In the national perspective, It make no sense to wage wins in one area and deliberately lose them in another.
Walker is finished, just like Ryan.
Will never vote for him, under any circumstance.
The Rats control the flight deck and are pointing the aircraft straight down. GOP are the first class passengers who want the riff raff behind the curtain to sit and shut.
They are being corrupted faster than we can get them elected.
Wrongo.
Primary them.
Then worry about the commies.
That’s a fact!
I gave Walker money for the recall fight but he isn’t getting any more from me.
Dang Mr. Walker, I forgot where I asked for your opinion...
Sheesh, these ungrateful bastards are starting to show their true colors. Eff’ this clown.
That’s why I never give dough to anyone in particular except Palin which was the very last one. Hope this a-hole loses the next time as I hate WI anyway.
Liberals will never attack their cult leader for swimdling them, even if evidence is shown. They will instead attack the Tparty with a counter we are out to destroy them.
Why is the GOP following them that way?
liberals are like crying babies, and they are meant to trigger in good people deep worries. Even a rational person becomes doubtful or unconfident around a crying liberal baby. But liberals are baby murderers who could care less and are unaffected by their mixture of emotion as truth, pathos and logos.
So while these useful idiots know they are being disinformed and screwed by their cult leader, they turn around and accuse us of misinforming and false advertisement.
it is time to stop being afffected by their wolf crying bs., abusing our natural protective instincts.
Sorry, Scott, RINOs count. “A time for Choosing” said The Gipper.
walker - based on his immigration comments recently - is now dead to me. forever.
yeah, we need all the sharron angles, christine o’donnells, todd akins, and richard mourdocks we can get, because God knows that worked out so well those other times. it’s brilliant to try to turn as many sure wins into losses that we can.
Someone please remind the amateurs that the media will be constantly trying to trip them up on abortion, and they had better get their answer straight, and stick to it.
What does he think of the Chamber of Commerce, Rove and McConnell targeting conservatives? Has he been silent on that?
Walker can do stuff to himself for all I care
That said, some wobbly House members DO deserve to be "primaried", and Boehner leads the list.
In the Senate, we absolutely need to give Ms. Graham the (electoral) heave-ho.
The litmus test? I would recommend replacement on the general ballot (via primary election) of any GOPer who calls for amnesty for illegal aliens. Such RINOs do not represent US or U.S.
.
We need a GOP that doesn’t abandon their own candidates for actually supporting the party platform.
Enemies in the tent are worse than enemies outside.
