They’re like that team the Harlem Globetrotters “play” against.
Actually, MLK WAS a Republican till JFK made him a deal that included him switching. Don’t forget, R’s were the party of Lincoln, and of civil rights. It wasn’t till the 60’s that evil totalitarian wannabe Dems stole that mantle, and they claim it dishonestly to this day.
Anybody want a moderately competent surgeon? How about a moderately faithful spouse? Do you want a moderately honest bookkeeper for your business? A moderately fresh piece of fish?
Moderation is not always a good thing.

Today’s moderate Republican is yesterdays’s democrat.
Today’s democrat is yesterday’s communist.
No, they're not elected anymore, because they run as Democrat Lite candidates, and since the Democrat is usually the one with seniority, voters don't feel the need to change, if both candidates are virtually the same.
I do not see the appeal of liberal Republicans. We don’t like them for obvious reasons but why would a liberal vote for them when they could vote for a Democrat instead?
What good is a majority if they do NOTHING to repeal the hundreds of liberal programs? All they do is delay socialism or walk it a litter slower.
There are some of us out here, it is just hard to get noticed and funding against a 20yr incumbent that talks a great story but votes about 50% Conservative by several published scorecards.
By the way, I am up against a deadline of 30 Sept for fundraising in order to “qualify” for endorsement by several conservative groups. I’m working very hard to have a good 3rd Quarter FEC filing.
Totally agree. What good is a Doctor who just bandages your cancer so you don’t see it as much???
Angle was not a disaster. Election eve, she was several points ahead in the polls. The fraud was huge.
Has anyone in the MSM ever used the expression “moderate Democrats”? Why is the qualifier “moderate” exclusively applied to Republicans? Is it to suggest that the typical Republican is “immoderate,” and hence just a little bit crazy? Of course.
Froma, nothing personal, but do you have a mouse in your pocket?
Or as Tonto once said to the Lone Ranger, "what do you mean 'we,' white man?
