After the election of Barack Obama in 2008, Rush Limbaugh took to the airwaves in January 2009 to announce his hope for the failure of Barack Obama's policies. He was very quick to make sure people understood he was not against Obama due to the color of his skin, but solely due to his policies.
In the same vein, I would like to announce a similar sentiment. I agree with Rush that Obama's polices should fail, and I hope they do. I also hope that the policies and philosophies of Mitt Romney fail as well.

Has this site been hacked or something? It resembles the DUmp more and more each day.
Kind of like some of those around here who don’t like the choice we have for president.
Just sayin’...
Rush put the Hush into RINO!!!
Of course he's a RINO.....
Does a bear poo in the woods?
Romney is destroying the Party and Conservatism to assuage his own ego. Don’t think for a minute he(Romney) doesn’t realize what he is doing.
Thats not true, if it was, then Bush has blood on his hands for Afghan and Iraq. The ones who have blood on their hands are the terrorists. Stop trying to tie Obama to something that he is NOT doing. Thats not Conservatism thats Partisanship, nothing more, and as easily dismissed.
A really good and informative list that had it’s place in the primary.
You have no sense of judgement whatsoever.
In a “parade of the flawed candidates” it was a fair fight and we lost the nomination. Some may suggest that for pragmatic reasons we support our nominee, but others maintain that the “establishment” needs to get the message (no more RINOs!).
Problem with that is that if O wins it might be the last time we really have the luxury of devoting an election to leaving a message. With O’s push to open up the borders and give full amnesty, and possible growing acceptance of Obamacare upon its implementation, in the future we may be forced to accept whatever scraps we can get. It may be now or never. Think before we leap.
Why not go with our nominee for now, but plan a primary challenge for 2016? Myabe RAND Paul.
Most Freeper’s call balls and strikes as they see them. Their eyesight doesn’t change depending on who is in the batters box or on the mound.
So you hope Obama does not get re-elected and Romney does, but you hope Romney fails at his job?
What do you expect to get out of the next election?
What is it, that you hope for our country...failure of the next administration?
My guess is that if Romney is elected the last thing he will want to do is pick a fight with a conservative house. He will be limited in being able to do the “compassionate conservative stuff” by the gigantic fiscal problems. He will make good court selections. Anyway, he’s a Bush Republican but without the freedom that Bush had to make mistakes. The important thing is to keep the pressure on the congress who will keep the pressure on Romney.
Just so! Amen
But this really isn't just any election - Obama really is a true believer, he means to finish dismantling this country - he is an imminent threat and he must be removed in November.
Afterward I don't care if Willard has fits. I really don't care if he's completely ineffective and loses in 2016 - our prospects lie with congress anyway.
Obama has got to go.
Yes. When Rush pushes the author of DEATH PANELS,
RomneyCARE/ObamaCARE, TARP-lover, TAXES(called fees)-LOVER,
then yes, Rush is a RINO at best.
The whole, Obama is going to take all of our rights line, has grown tiresome. He is a Socialist, and WILL try to turn us into an European style system. However, he cannot do much more damage IF we keep the House and gain the Senate, which it looks like we will. The argument that some FReepers have taken that its Armaggeddon or Romney is absurd. And you WILL NEVER see a legitimate primary challenge in 2016, so if you get Romney, you either get him for 4 then another Obama, or you get 8 years of RINO policies (ie Liberal Socialist Policies) but with the Republican brand, and NO way of stopping it. FReepers are wrong. When we lost the party nomination, we lost the White House.
Since you've chosen to defend Obama's record, perhaps youc can explain how our casualities have tripled there since Obama took office.
You haven't a clue.
Which candidate did you support and work for during the primaries? Do you regret not doing more for that candidate in order to have him or her receive the votes necessary to receive the nomination?
