Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney reacted to the Supreme Court's Obamacare decision by saying that, "if we want to get rid of Obamacare, we're going to have to replace President Obama."
"Lets make clear that we understand what the Court did and did not do," Romney said today, speaking in Washington, D.C. "What the Court did today was say that Obamacare does not violate the Constitution. What they did not do was say that Obamacare is good law or that it's good policy."
Romney added: "Obamacare was bad policy yesterday. It's bad policy today. Obamacare was bad law yesterday. Its bad law today."
This presidential election is "a choice," Romney said. "You can choose whether you want to have a larger and larger government, more and more intrusive in your lifeseparating you and your doctorwhether you're comfortable with more deficits, higher debt that we pass onto the coming generations. Whether you're willing to have the government put in place a plan that potentially causes you to lose the insurance that you like or whether instead you want to return to a time when the American people will have their own choice in healthcare. Where consumers will be able to make their choices as to what kind of health insurance they want."
"This is the time of choice for the American people," Romney said.
Romney concluded: "Help us. Help us defeat Obamacare. Help us defeat the liberal agenda that makes government too big, too intrusive, and is killing jobs across this great country."

For the sake of our nation, we have to make sure Obama is NOT re-elected, and the only way to do that is work toward electing someone else--who, for better or for worse--is Romney.
Those who do not vote for Romney will only be helping ensure Obama is re-elected. I don't like that fact--but it doesn't change the reality of it. In 2006, many of us didn't vote for Republican candidates because they were not to our liking, and look where that got us. A Dem majority in BOTH houses!
Now THAT showed them!

No. Or, on that note, one tax that has ever been repealed, revoked, or stopped (even those that were claimed to be “temporary”).
Amen.
That crazy minority of screaming idiots are really getting
on everyone’s last nerve.
I side with JR on this, and unlike you I didn’t vote against the republicans in 2006.
If you support Romney and want him to lead your party and your movement, then vote for him.
Why do should anyone believe that Romney would push for repeal of Obamacare,
when he gave us Romneycare ?
Interesting. The Democrats may end up hoist on their own petard. Let's work hard for that!!
I’ve been on that bandwagon since 2008 but it might take more injuries and abuses for some of our fellow freepers to actually join the fight we have in front of us instead of the last one.
Exactly! We don't need the Republicans fiddling with it anymore than we needed the Democrats doing it!
Salve
Everything will be good friend, I am just shocked at amount.
Merci.
Now that Obamacare has been defined as a TAX BILL, only 51 votes are needed in the Senate. No filibuster of TAX BILLS.
Unintended consequence of Roberts treason.
I’m not saying I want to go to any of those countries.
One term and the damage is done, perhaps beyond repair. Romney is going to have to swing the axe far and wide on the federal government for me to even consider voting for him. If he is willing to bring the fedgovmonster under control, and is determined to do just that, then he may earn my respect, and possibly my vote. Until then, all bets are off.
2010 was historically great, but even then the Romney/Rockefeller wing of the GOP fought some Republican nominees AFTER they won the primary, because they were conservatives.
Conservatives who are not 100% behind Romney are abandoning their conservatism and will help keep ObamaCare.
Dah? Obama.
That’s why Rush, Levin, Palin, and Reagan, in his grave, support Romney. The grownups will get Romney Elected! It’s Romney vs Obama. Who’s better for America?
We are screwed six ways to Sunday. You have either obama the arrogant prick, or romney the used car salesman. Either way, nothing good will come from electing either of these idiots to office. The lesser of two evils has its limits, if you go from the frying pan, and into the fire. Obama and romney have more in common than they have differences, and their actions will prove that out.
Go vote for zero
Vote Foe Zero
Leave us Romney Supporters alone,
