You complain about Romney’s record, while ignoring Obama’s truly disasterous record.

Who's ignoring Obama's disastrous record? Certainly not I. It's a foregone conclusion that Obama is the worst president this nation has ever seen. That's hardly worth discussing at this point.

No, what we're discussing, is the relative wisdom of electing a fraudulent Republican to the presidency who will likely carry on Obama's left-wing agenda, JUST like he did the last time he was elected to a position of power.

If our country has no other choice, and we're going to have a Socialist president no matter what, then I'd much prefer any further damage to the republic be done by the other side's Socialist, not ours.

There's also a very good chance that the Republicans will dominate Congress in the coming session. Given that there's little difference between the two Socialist contenders for the presidency, which one do you think the next Congress is more likely to oppose? The one wearing enemy colors, or the one who is ostensibly their own team captain?

Naturally, the answer is, they'll oppose the guy in the blue jersey. What's important here isn't who sits in the White House for the next four years, but what effects they'll create while doing so. The guy in the blue jersey will be hog tied and handcuffed, but no so with the guy in the red jersey.

If we're going to have a hard left liberal for our president, then I want him hog tied and handcuffed by a Republican dominated Congress, so that he can do the least amount of damage possible.

The first error in your thinking, is that Obama is merely a socialist. He is much worse than that.

The second error in your thinking is that a Republican Congress can hog tie and handcuff Obama. What prevents him from continuing to do end arounds of Congress like he has already done numerous times?

The third error of your thinking is that Carter gave rise to Reagan, and that if we let Obama get re-elected we will be able to get another Reagan elected. If that were the case we would have a Reagan type of conservative poised to do the same in this election.

The fourth error of your thinking is that America can endure any amount of damage, but the savior that will arise after another Obama term will be able to make it all right once again.

What I am discussing is the relative wisdom of fighting amongst conservatives, thus allowing the re-election of Obama who can do irreparable damage, as opposed to someone who may or may not do damage as you fear. I know Obama will do major damage, I am hoping that Romney will be quite different than I fear and that he may surprise me. If not than I hope that a Republican majority in Congress would be conservative enough to actually prevent him from doing some of what I fear.

In short, I am looking for the best outcome in this election, and that involves removing the usurper from power first and foremost.

This really is not about us vs them. It's about how do we go about restoring the Constitution, and turning ths country back around. Allowing Obama 4 more years, to fill the courts with liberal judges, to direct agencies (like the EPA) to adopt regulations that continue to smother us, to appoint Czars that further put this country into econmic holes, with the far-flung hope that it will give rise to a Reagan type conservative, is just plain ludicrous.

If you cannot see the wisdom in that, then this country is toast.
