It wouldn’t be surprising. Mitt has had a very hard time getting through to Evangelicals. Huckabee would be the perfect choice if, God forbid, Mitt wins the nomination.
Huckabee is a brilliant snake oil salesman, perfect for making the Evangelical rounds. But he is also a corrupt, liberal opportunist, so Romney would find him easy to work with.
And to top it all off, both of them seem to have a thing about torturing dogs.

I would hope that Mike Huckabee, as a former Southern Baptist minister, would not join forces with a liberal Mormon. IF he does, Huckabee loses all credibility and his TV show....and the election will be lost.
