I vote ABO (anybody but Obama). That said, with my guy Cain out of the race, put me in the “Newt” column.
Because I think he is more likely to beat Obama and moving just a little bit further right, is better than the situation we have now.
I believe Newt is a very intelligent, well spoken historian but fear that he would not be elected in the presidential election due to his personal background and ties to Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac. The media and Obama’s campaign staff will persecute him.
(I would have voted for Cain...)
I don’t see this ending well.
IMHO...
1 Michele Bachmann
2 Rick Santorum
Whatever happened to the opinion polls that used to appear on FR? “Opinion Poll” still appears on the “Manage Blocks” page but does not seem to do anything.
Newt.
There are no other candidates who can match a stat sheet up against Obama while he was President.
"This is what I did in Texas while you were President and this is what you did to America while you were President. Take away Texas and you really really sucked"
All the rest can only say "this is what I would have done or will do"
Perry can say,"this is what I did and it worked while Obama worked against it"
Rick Perry
Rick Perry.
But, honesty, we appear headed for Romney as no one has worked out. Sad, really.
Same here. I saw Cain as taking on Obama as well. I was soured by Perry’s flubbing and by his followers here on FR. They really left a bad taste in my mouth. Bachmann seems to have good core conservative values, but I can’t stand the woman. Santorum, well...
I don’t expect perfection, but would like someone to take the conservative mantle with strength, grace, and humility. But all we get is this backbiting.
Newt.
I started out for Bachmann, but she lost me because she reminds me of my ex-wife.
AND, she thinks yesterday was Kim Jong Il’s birthday.
Newt Gingrich
Michele Bachmann!
Read his response. It sure doesn’t sound like shilling.
I also wonder why he can't seem to get along with his staff and has no organizational support to speak of.
1 Paul
2 Perry
None of the above. Not even for dogcatcher, much less the presidency of the United States.
