Sarah Palin, looking and sounding like a presidential candidate at a Tea Party rally in Iowa, left chanting supporters without saying if she will make a run for the White House next year.
""America is at a tipping point," said Palin, 47. "This is a systemic crisis due to failed policies and incompetent leadership."
Palin, the 2008 Republican vice presidential nominee, brought her brand of celebrity-infused politics to a spot in Iowa where Barack Obama spoke to a fundraising event four years earlier as he was campaigning for the Democratic presidential nomination.
The outdoor venue at the Indianola Balloon Grounds south of Des Moines was sponsored by a Tea Party group and drew about 2,000 people, who waited in steady rain for Palin's appearance.

A Gallup poll of Republicans and Republican-leaning voters released Aug. 24 showed Palin in third place nationwide among actual and potential candidates tested.
Perry led with 25 percent, followed by Romney at 14 percent. Palin finished third in the poll at 11 percent....

This is the weekend when your worst nightmare begins.
This is when you start downloading in your pants because you KNOW that Palin is going to win, and you are going to be relegated to the ash-heap of history.
Enjoy the Labor Day Weekend because The Big Worry is starting soon, and your bogus rule of our nation and culture is coming to an end.
“The Iowa caucuses are scheduled to be held Feb. 6, five months from now”
FEB 6, FIVE MONTHS FROM NOW
“Palin would have “an awful lot of work to do” if she gets into the race this late.””
LATE?
Palin also faces state-filing deadlines for presidential candidates, including one on Nov. 1 for the primary in South Carolina. The southern state is scheduled to follow Iowa and New Hampshire in nomination voting next year.
NOV 1, is the earliest filing DEADLINE???? LATE????
I hate the MSM.
I was in attendance. Came in from AZ. Crowd was at least 8000, got there early, everybody stayed through the downpour. When Sarah got up to speak, looking radiant, and in great form, the rains stopped just long enough for her to get it said. No teleprompter was in evidence, BTW.
What a great day!
Such a letdown! When she said, “This is my plan and then mentioned five different areas, I was SURE that she would announce. I had even been shouting, “Run, Sarah, Run!”
earlier.
” so I guess it is not for me to be bothered on their behalf.”
So, why are you?
When is the deadline to become a candidate?
She has said she will respond. Her time is not the same as the elitists. She won't be pushed. I like that.
SHE never said she would.
We’re not worried about her not running because we believe she is running. Right now she appears to be using the media’s obsession to campaign on their dime. Brilliant, wouldn’t you say? Besides we’ll know one way or another by the end of the month.
Sarah’s speech is already on YouTube here:

Enjoy!
I look forward to the transcript.
Far better even than the speech, was the autographs afterward - 45 minutes of Palin signing autographs.
2:30 onward in the following video:

That’s hour 2, minute 30. Watch it full screen, this is quality television.
Obama is toast. So may be Perry, frankly. Never saw such natural political skill before
Again hour 2 minute 30:

“but I feel like she disrespects her supporters by not responding to them.”
It doesn’t bother me one bit and I am a Sarah supporter.
She will do what she says she will do when she feels the time is right. I good with that.
Speech was great, but the headline is funny — did they think her supporters would NOT be exhorting her to run?
I don’t think she’d have any trouble getting the required number of signatures in Virginia. I actually can’t remember seeing any big signature drive yet for any candidate here.
And you so SWEETLY show concern for Palin supporters.
