Being Canadian, I suppose David would know. Who here really believes Mike Huckabee will give up a $3.5 million dollar mansion in Florida to traipse around the country again? So those that came up with RomneyCare or pardoned scores of murderers & rapists would do a better job at running the country than Gov. Palin? Sexist much, Dave?

Just Who, exactly, listens to Billy Kristol? Have YOU ever heard him stumble over an intelligent thought?

Dave, you are so transparent, no one would take you seriously. Is letterman your real last name?

I have two comments. First, I’m slowly becoming a Pawlenty fan. I know he has his problems, i.e. tepid support for some sort of cap and trade a few years ago, but he IS a former governor (read leader) and has made statements in line with the Tea Party on spending. He disarms his critics with his easy going manner. That will be a huge asset running against Obama. That personal asset reminds me of another former republican governor that became president.
Second, I take issue with the article’s statement “that excludes Ryan whose plan is anathema to all but hardcore conservatives.” Not so. Ryan’s plan is NOT a conservative plan. It does not balance the budget for more than a generation. It is a House Republican leadership plan and we’ve all seen how conservative they are (not) these past few months. There are two conservative plans out there. First was Rand Paul’s. Second was by the House Republican Study Committee.
And since I’m still thinking of the big news of the night, let me say, God bless America and God bless our military.

Trust the backstabbing Canadian poser Frum?
Late in October, The American Spectator's The Prowler revealed:
"Former Mitt Romney presidential campaign staffers
have been involved in spreading anti-Palin spin to reporters, seeking to diminish her standing after the election.
'Sarah Palin is a lightweight, she won't be the first, not even the third, person people will think of when it comes to 2012,'
says one former Romney aide
'The only serious candidate ready to challenge to lead the Republican Party is Mitt Romney.
"Some former Romney aides were behind the recent leaks to media, including CNN, that Governor Sarah Palin was a 'diva' and was going off message intentionally."
"Frum was indeed a critic of Palin, calling her nomination a "huge mistake" during an October 13 (2008, weeks before the election) Early Show appearance."
David Frum: "Two of our most plausible candidates for president in 2012 are leading Mormons: Mitt Romney and Utah governor Jon Huntsman."
David Frum: "I have a lot of regard for Mitt Romney as a man and politician
I will support him without qualm."
Who benefits most from Sanford meltdown? Californian (that's right) Mitt Romney
"Peeking Out From the McCain Wreckage: Mitt Romney"
"Someone's got to say it: IS MITT ROMNEY RESPONSIBLE FOR OBAMA'S VICTORY?"
"Vanity: Team Romney Sabotaged Palin and Continuing to Do So?"
"Romney Supporters Trashing Palin"
"Romney advisors sniping at Palin?"
