Rep. Ron Paul: Donald Trump is ‘desperate’

Rep. Ron Paul said Monday that Donald Trump is ‘desperate’ for attention.

Mr. Paul, who is expected to announce the formation of a presidential exploratory committee Tuesday, said Monday that Mr. Trump’s pursuit of President Barack Obama’s birth certificate shows how “desperate” he is for attention.

“I understand he has sent out some detectives to find out,” Mr. Paul said. “I haven’t invested in any of that, so I guess I’ll have to see what he does.” Mr. Paul added that Mr. Trump’s speculation over Mr. Obama’s birth certificate is likely a bid for attention as the New York Republican considers a run for president.

The Texas Republican’s comment comes as Mr. Trump told CNN’s Anderson Cooper that he thinks Mr. Obama’s birth certificate is missing. “Well I’ve been told very recently…that the birth certificate is missing,” Mr. Trump said. “I’ve been told that it’s not there or it doesn’t exist. And if that’s the case it’s a big problem.”

Mr. Paul is the latest public figure to challenge Mr. Trump’s allegations. A number of celebrities have chimed in on the issues, which has drawn public responses from Mr. Trump. The real estate mogul slammed Robert De Niro Monday, saying the actor is “not the brightest bulb” after Mr. De Niro said Mr. Trump should tone down the political rhetoric.

zero went to a “church” Sunday. In a T.V. interview w G. Stephanopoluos he stated his faith was Christian, after stating his faith was muzzie and being corrected by George S. So he’s not Christian, and just a liar? Then he’s probably muzzie. muzzie speech isn’t free speech, it’s false speech and I don’t want any of these muzzies in my country or around my family. go away troll.

just don’t kill ANY ONE.

I'm thinking, "no public flogging, no cutting off of hands for theft of food, no female circumcision, no child forehead cutting, no maiming in general, no Sharia...NOT IN MY COUNTRY."

I am not saying Islam is a good religion, I am just saying there are great Muslims in the religion. I just try to stay rational in a debate these days, as I don’t want to be mean spirited anymore, because I respect you guys and gals.

While I believe your argument the one your talking about obviously doesn’t, nor do many other’s. You need to be clearer w your point.

FR is now the official mouthpiece for the cowardly Republicans... heck, what am I talking about? They carried Bush’s water for years. I’m moving on to greener pastures. This place has gone to the dogs.

Ron Paul must be getting too senile to follow the mounting evidence that Zer0 was born in Kenya. Here is a new bit of information I just stumbled on today:

Kezia Obama, Obama Sr’s first wife, tells about seeing Barack Sr before he was to go back to the U.S. It was that time that Barack, Sr. asked Kezia’s consent to marry Barack, Jr.’s mother, Stanley Ann Dunham. She granted that consent. Kezia also tells about when Dunham and Barack Sr divorced, he returned to Kenya and he went home to her.

Kezia says that the President reminds her of his father – saying the two share many characteristics.

If this account is true, The block buster is that Barack Sr was in Kenya asking permission before he went back to Hawaii to marry Stanley Ann. Do you know what this means? It confirms my theory that Barack Sr was indeed in Kenya asking for permission to take a second wife. Now the big question: Was Stanley Ann also with him in Kenya asking for Hussein Onyango Obama’s permission? Kezia does not say that Stanley Ann was with him and she does not say she was not. Maybe Barack Sr hid the fact that Stanley Ann was with him to avoid any conflict. If it was true that Stanley Ann was in Kenya, and the airlines would not let a pregnant Stanley Ann get on the airplane until she had her baby, we have a case closed answer to our question.

Ron Paul = The new Pat Paulson

I've always seen him as kind of a Lyndon LaRouche type.

Or the GOP's version of Dennis Kucinich.

And his acolytes tend to be very worshipful and angry...

I’m also 28 and think you are being naive. You’re probably okay, but I’m a bit suspicious that your least favorite political figures are Rick Perry and Donald Trump. Really? You dislike them more than Obama, Reid, Pelosi, Schumer, Hillary, Boxer, etc?

I also noticed you lack consistency in you positions. In 2007, you were for a strong defense and were pro China. In 2011, you think conservatives should stand against the Department of Defense and the CIA and believe that China is cheating in their deals with us.

I was trying to be funny, but your comparison is pretty spot on.
