Only one problem. He isn’t running.

Trump looks more like the kind of Republican who will TKO, rather than bitch slap, Obama.

Nice post ! Well written article

Donald - by definition : “great chief; mighty”

Trump - by definition :

“Something, especially something held in reserve, that gives one a decisive advantage” as a trump card.

I will go on record right now and say that he won’t run. And if he does it will be as a third party, drawing needed votes away from the GOP nominee like Ross Perot. I’m tired of him sucking all the air out of the room.

I like what Trumps doing, but it seems a part of me keeps wanting to find something I don't like about him — I don't know it's a strange feeling. Maybe I'm just afraid he's not all he seems and we need a strong candidate. I'd definitely vote for him over Obama.

And I happen to think Ben Stein IS colorful! Maybe that's why I kind of like Tim Pawlenty.

It is truly amazing that it takes someone like Trump to make an issue of the birth certificate. Anyone with half a brain knows that a COLB is not a BC, and yet nearly everyone in the mainstream media pretends there is no difference. They take the word of an unelected bureaucrat who claims to have seen the BC. Trump is right - it would be the biggest scam in American History. This issue has to be settled.

Problem is, I’m not sure if he runs in the primary if he even has standing. But some of the states should force the issue, imho, by requiring the BC to get on the ballot.

I agree with this article, Trumps numbers would rise if he declared. It is easy to discount the chances of someone who isn’t running. Not sure if he is the man I want as President, but I would have preferred Hillary! to Obama if I had the choice.

The more I hear the more I like. I love his take no prisoners approach. Would love to watch him debate Obama, he would eat Obama alive. He’s squishy on social issues, but for the sake of the country Im more than willing to set some of those doubts aside. I hope he does run.

His comment about Sarah P.- “polarizing”.

I take that very positively.

Donald Trump knows how to screw over the banks while the Democrats and Republicans only know how to get screwed by them.

I saw Tim Pawlenty on TV today. He's a very nice man. Unassuming. Reflexively inoffensive. Soft. His voice is like the gentle hum of a fluorescent light bulb. You don't even realize it's there. Just a soft murmur in the background.

A thought ocurred to me, as he droned pleasantly in the backgrount. Obama's media thugs will tear through Pawlenty like a grizzly bear mauling a hippie filmmaker.

It's not just Tim. The entire GOP field is weak as a girl scout troop. They won't be able to rally opposition to Obama. They won't be able to withstand the media assault.

What I'll say in Trump's defense is that he's an all-hype kryptonite to the all-hype Obama razzle-dazzle. Trump's celebrity popularity draws from the same well as Obama's. McCain laughed at the celebrity angle. Now his celebrity nitwit daughter writes for Daily Beast, and McCain is a forgotten old fool.

What we learned in the last 100 years of media warfare are muskets and horse cavalry in 2010. Obama figured this out, and amazed the greybeards by skating effortlessly to the White House. Trump is poised to follow his footsteps right straight in.

‘”Scratching just beneath that surface though, Trump may have trouble explaining to conservatives why, if he’s against Obamacare (snip), why did he contribute money to the re-election campaign of Anthony Weiner, one of the health care bill’s self-proclaimed authors?

If Trump’s against gun control (or corruption for that matter), why the contribution to Charles Rangel, who rates an “F” on gun rights from the NRA (as does Weiner and others on The Donald’s donation list)?

Trump says he’s pro-life, but has given money to Hillary Clinton and Chuck Schumer — two politicians who make thrills go up NARAL’s leg.

Trump’s contributed money to the campaigns of Frank Lautenberg, Ted Kennedy, Patrick Kennedy, Harry Reid, Arlen Specter and Dick Durbin — so much for the “lower taxes” concern.”’

Ben Shapiro is a nitwit.

News flash, Ben. Donald Trump will say anything in his efforts of pandering to conservatives. Trump remains what he’s always been, a NYC liberal.

Support conservatives and dump Trump.

If he doesn’t get the nomination and runs as an ‘Independent’, we’re doomed. The ‘Perot effect’ will be in order, and 0bama will have his 2nd term with under 50% of the vote.

When was the last time a Democrat got over 50% of the vote to be re-elected? I don’t believe it has happened during my lifetime! I suppose you’d have to go all the way back to Truman.

Even before Trump started on this BC track, my 83 year old mother announced that if he ran she would vote for him. I think it is his “take no prisoners” attitude. I am so done with the slick double-talking lying politician. If you haven’t seen the Meridith Viera interview I recommend you watch it. She looks like she is in shock. I like that look from the MSM!

As an analysis goes, this is great — from a sports perspective.

From a political/ideological perspective, it’s a bust, and in the end, everything’s going to be riding on where the various candidates stand on the issues of the day.

Trump will have a much harder time competing in the purely political battle to come. Right now, he’s knockin’ ‘em dead, by kicking Obama in all of his weakest spots. The Republican primary battle will be a whole different ball game.
