Every pol you named who’s received $ from Trump happens to represent a state where Trump has major hotels. It’s what businessmen do. Donate to the people in power where they do business.
If you are operating a multi-Billion dollar business in NY State, and you are a smart person, you buy any politician who is willing to be bought. If not, you will fail in business. Do you know the ratio of democrat politicians over repub politicians in NY state? If you restrict contributions only to republicans, you will be out gunned 5 to 1 in NY.
